If I were Harbaugh I would have gone for it. Last thing I would want to do is give the ball back to Allen who was on fire in the 4th quarter. Lucky for us Harbaugh punted and the rest is history. I would not have gone for it. It was 4th and 3 not 4th and 1. If you don't get it, you basically lose the game since we would have already been in FG Range. T 1 Quote

It’s the new NFL PI calls. If the DB has good position, sees and is making a play for the ball they let a lot of handfighting go. Equal opportunity, and I like it even though it worked against us in this case. If this is the case, hopefully the NFL is communicating this, and hopefully we learn to do this is a skill. Still angry at the early Chiefs playoff games where we were getting G*D* mugged at the line (DBs shoulda wore ski masks).... and then were out there playing with a different set of rules VOLUNTARILY. We need regular drills/practices where our DB's learn how to do this effectively, and teach our WR's how to run through it, show high effort to work through it --> as thats the only way youre possibly getting a flag. If you flop, give up, throw your hands in the air and look to the ref... help is NOT coming. Work on the correct optics/attitude to earn the catch or the call!! Quote

However, they would have expected to get the ball back with some time on the clock. I know if this was the other way around (or against the Chiefs), and Cook was running wild all game except for maybe the last couple of drives and Josh was on fire the entire game except maybe the last couple of drives, I absolutely would have been p**sed at McDermott for punting (unless of course our D stopped them and we won anyway, then all would have been forgiven). The ball spot on his slide was absolutely terrible. There was also a terrible spot of a dump off throw to Shakir deep in Bills territory. The second and third offensive series for the Bills was trash play calling. Just way too conservative and predictable. In games like these, need to have urgency on every possession. The play calling on the second series, after Cook picked up 8 yards on first down, was criminally bad, and, unfortunately, too typical of Brady. The situation was begging for play-action, but twice in a row, Brady called inside runs, taking the ball out of the hands of Josh Allen, who had just torched the Ravens on the previous series. Against an explosive offense like the Ravens’, you just can’t afford a brain-dead possession like that one. Inexcusable. 1 1 Quote

Maybe someone who views the all 22 can clear this up. Josh barely moved his feet on the all-22. Turned right and threw. It was a poor throw. Quote

The most likely way to get that is the #1 seed. Look at last year's AFC playoffs, the Chiefs had a relatively easy time against the Texans (23-12 before a end game safety) while the Bills fought the Ravens tooth and nail. By the time the Bills got to play the Chiefs for the AFC Championship, all kind of injury on Bills side. 2 Quote
