After watching that game last night, it reiterated my belief that there is no way the Bills should have lost to that team this past January. Who knows if they would have beaten the Eagles but that Chiefs team is the weakest it's been in years and they still couldn't get it done. It's just so frustrating and disappointing.

No shot we lose if benford stayed healthy. It’s the same story every year against kc in the playoffs…I think we’ve been missing one of our best if not our best defensive player the last three playoff matchups against them.

I get the whole ‘you’ve gotta find a way to win anyway’ argument but it’s just so disheartening.  Last year no benford or rapp (two worst positions for us to lose guys that year), matchup before that entire linebacker room is devastated and aj klein comes in off the street to START, time before that no Tre White but they ended up losing Mathieu also so it turned into a wild shootout.

really need Denver or lac to step up so they can’t rest guys that are a little banged up and coast to a division win…they’ve been freakishly healthy the last two playoff games against us

Not overreacting, just telling you what I saw. Chiefs looked pretty pedestrian last night as they did in the Super Bowl. It was a good game plane, two slot receiver formations get defense thinking run, but they consistently threw out of it. Chargers were struggling running the ball, not using Harris was head scratching.

Najee Harris isn't good.  Hampton will get better.

That’s probably right, but Hampton was get nothing. Why pay Harris $9.5m and not use him?

Totally agree.  No idea why they paid him that much.  I would've tried to keep Dobbins even with his injury history.

The Harris contract was the most baffling deal in free agency to me.

Splitting hairs maybe but I view Allen as a “big slot” type, Ladd as a “small slot.”  Ladd and Shakir have a similar body type and play style whereas Allen is more like what Keon could (and maybe should) be as a “big slot” (cue the “your mom” jokes I know).  Long way of saying I still think Ladd would be duplicative here given that we have Shakir.  But I could see an offense here with Keon and Shakir both in slot roles.

If you can find a woman who doesn't chuckle at men talking in a serious time about big slots and tight ends and a penetration based d, she's prolly either a coaches daughter or doesn't speak English as her first language.  My wife chortles and smirks at me every time the announcer says anything like that.

Harris sucks, so I’m not sure why that’s head scratching.  Signing him was the questionable action.

What we learned last night, Chief’s secondary still isn’t good, neither is there OL. Worthy still stinks, why was he running a crosser? Kelsey I believe only had two catches, one was broken coverage. Chris Jones failure to contain on Herbert’s last run for a first down was idiotic, he made a move inside going for the sack stat, rather than doing his job. If Mahomes keeps try to be a hero by showing how tuff he is, he won’t last the season.

Because it’s a great way to use a fast receiver and get RAC.

Apparently it’s also a great way to get a 165 lbs. WR killed. Granted he ran into his own man. Worthy has a dislocated shoulder and may be able to return at some point this season with braced up shoulder.

I said last year, everyone crying about a pure X WR needed to calm down.   If you have multiple guys who can do the same thing, who does the defense plan to take away?

The Chargers or Denver are going to win that division and be a threat.
