Agree. I think this will be the best Chiefs offense in at least 3 years. When Rice is back and they can roll our Rice, Worthy and Hollywood that is the best 1,2,3 at receiver Mahomes will ever have had. I think Simmons, even if has some rookie ups and downs is the most talented guy they've ever had at left tackle in this era too - certainly as a pass blocker.

 

I think there is a very good chance the Chiefs are better than last year but win fewer regular season games because their schedule is tough and their division is much improved over where it was a couple of years ago. 12 or 13 wins a top 3 seed, another AFCW title and a more dangerous team than ever in the post season is my prediction. That said, my gut feeling is they won't make the SB this year. I just feel like WE will get them this time.

Currently, no disagreement. Pre plastic surgery Kay Adams was on par with Jamie Erdahl though.

C'mon now, Buffalo hasn't been getting destroyed in the playoffs by KC and, in fact, lost to them last year by 29-32 with some zebra help in the form of some strange spots. So strange in fact, it caused the NFL to FINALLY change the way they track the ball and have rid themselves of the older than dirt "chain gang".

In the previous year lost because of a missed FG, along with so many injuries to the defense that a guy who was going on vacation with his family was called off the street to help out...and he played in that game.

 

The season before that, a defensive player had a heart attack on the field during the game, and this demoralized the entire team. Wasn't it the year before that was the 13-second fiasco in which the then-DC (no longer with the Bills) called for a prevent defense, which screwed the game for Buffalo? The NFL also changed the rules after that game to allow both teams to have a possession. 

 

Let's face it, the Chiefs haven't dominated the Buffalo Bills the last few years, as it's been more bad luck and injuries that have hurt them in the playoffs. Buffalo has beaten those vaunted Chiefs during the regular season several times now. It's about time for the bad luck and injury BS to hit a different team at the end of the season

 

 

I disagree.  That's just not a winning mentality to me, and I am pretty certain that the players and coaches don't think like that.  If they do, they will continue to come up short. The playoff matchups for the most part have been razor thin contests.  It's more than injuries and bad luck, though.  KC has made more plays at the end of this tight contests than the Bills have.  That's really all there is to it at the end of the day.  The Bills, for all the talk of referees, injuries, bad luck, etc.. have had chances to make plays late in the fourth quarter of the last two playoff matchups and they failed to do that.

So when they limp in as some would say, somebody is still going to have to take it and I’m not sure how much home field matters. To me, the bye matters more. Especially to us. If we can get that, yes, it’s a possible path to increasing our odds in that spot. But I’m not even sure HF matters against a team like that. You will still need to take it from them and win the last 5 minutes.
