SectionC3 Posted July 21 Posted July 21 In the more expensive area of the grocery store, apparently. Beef prices are soaring. Why is Trump letting this happen?

SectionC3 Posted July 21 Author Posted July 21 It’s funny how none of the MAGA here acknowledged the avian flu as the catalyst for higher egg prices a year ago. It was simply Biden’s fault. Now, however, when the shoe is on the other foot, they’re eager to dig into the cause of the problem instead of reflexively blaming the president. 1 1
SCBills Posted July 21 Posted July 21 (edited) This is when it’s easy to sit back and be content with my vote when I didn’t believe he could simply lower prices or end Russia/Ukraine Day 1 … I simply wanted the border & immigration to be put under control and the tax cuts to be made permanent. Add in Trump’s election as a rebuke to the far left (who I view as a political enemy of white men) and I’m thoroughly happy with my vote. Edited July 21 by SCBills

You, on the other hand, are not nakedly partisan at every turn. Just another demonstration of your personal excellence. Good for you!! 🤦🏻🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♂️
Trump_is_Mentally_fit Posted July 21 Posted July 21 It's because all the workers, immigrants, have fled the meat packing plants. No workers to process the meant Good job MAGA 1

Or be willing to pay Americans and legal immigrants a living wage rather than low-ball wages paid to exploited illegals. Options available here.

Your republican party would defeat any candidate that sought to increase legal immigration or sought to give legal status to workers already here. That's just a fact

Can we apply this to tariffs too? 6 minutes ago, All_Pro_Bills said: So your theory is without illegal immigration basic industries can't function? That's just a fact First, you dodge my questions. I don't care if Republicans, or Democrats for that matter, won't do it. WIll my recommendations work or not? Second, I'm not a Republican. Third, there are already such work programs in place. And I'm confused. One one hand I'm hearing complaints about abusing illegals, aka deportation, and on the other advocating for employers to exploit illegals by paying below market wages to keep American industries running with illegals at below market wages. Which should we do? Just now, Roundybout said: Oh so now we believe in supply and demand? Can we apply this to tariffs too? MAGA is staunchly against raising the minimum wage. You're critiquing policy. I really don't care what politicians will or won't do. Their unwillingness to do something doesn't invalid my options. I care about what will or won't work. Will what I say work or not? Yes or No?

Which should we do? There is a big difference between an immigrant coming here to work his ass off doing jobs we wont do for lot less pay vs deporting them to another country for prison or enslavement. Your argument is beyond simplistic.

It has been decreed to be communism.

If they feel exploited, I suppose they just wouldn't be here, right?
