They have the dirtiest, smelliest job in nature, and they look the part. That big ugly right Red face is a warning that they are filthy, foul, and putrid.  They have ginormous amounts of acid and bacteria to digest all of the rotten ***** which they consume. They are frightful.  But they provide an invaluable service.  Nature does not waste

Maybe they taste good.  But no way would I ever eat Vulture

Was it a guy with a tow truck who was working for the bank, by chance? 

 

True story, I was in the early days of dating my wife and we were riding around with the convertible top down enjoying a Sunday morning. I randomly spotted a car we/my bank had been trying to repossess for a while, but the tow truck guys could never pin him down to get it. I spot it and pull up behind it and put my car in park, blocking it in. She is in WTF mode! What if this guy comes out of that apartment? What if he has a gun? I tell her not to worry, just walk away fast.  We have to walk to a pay phone so I can call for the tow truck. It was about then that she started to wonder what our future together might be like. I’m not always boring!

I been to that tavern several times. It's a pretty good neighborhood till dark.

There is a parking lot across the street for about 15 cars. Its actually a pretty good place. Wings are comparable with Bar Bill

Regarding nine eleven, they weren't a cook or two down. It's always like that (long wait to get a table/long wait to get food). Place is run terribly. They make you jump through hoops to get their wings (open limited hours, long waits, only take cash, no A/c). They have the dream restaurant business, people lining up out the door for one menu item. Should be the most efficient money making machine in America. But they manage to screw it up to the point where I don't bother going. 

 

Rant over. It actually upsets me because like you said they are the best wings I've ever had. 

I don't care to go to 911 again. The owner / manager is a total a-hole. Very rude, and makes you feel like you're totally blassed to be there. I've had many wings just as good or better. See you in space 911!
