The wife went to the trouble of resetting everything and then getting a new modem. Nada. She even reinstated the DTV dish for a few channels at least, but of course it’s raining so that doesn’t work either. All this great technology is great, until you lose it. VERY frustrating! We did Italy last fall, the advice you have gotten so far is spot on. Naples seemed a bit sketchy, but for a day or two I guess it is fine. We ended our trip planning on touring the Almalfi coast, using Sorrento as our base for 4 nights, we loved it so much, we only did Capri and spent the rest of our time in and around Sorrento. The trains are definitely the way to go. We started up north (Milan to Venice to Cinque Terr to Florence and then Rome, using trains for most of the legs of the trip. Wonderful experience, don't worry about the language barriers, you will be fine. 1 1 1 Quote

Wow, I haven't heard the name Dick Proenneke in a long time. What a great series of videos. I mean as you know I love nostalgic stuff and what not so this place was up my alley. The thing that struck me.... when they told me his age of death there it's the same age I am today.
