I heard that crap after the ATL game,when two catches made fans believe that it was Palmer’s coming out party.  Fans desperately want to believe that JAGs like Palmer and Shavers are difference makers and I hate arguing about it, but hope (usually misguided) springs eternal amongst the Mafia. He's spent literally decades (22 years) going through countless coaches and GM's trying to find one that could so much as get them to the Playoffs. I don't think that isn't a major key to his reluctancy to pull the trigger for unknowns with the Bills.

 

Beane and McDermott are literally the only hires that have ever won for him in multiple sports.
