Now go find support for the dumbass tweet that talks about Indian immigrants. Or just use common sense. Must be the mennonites in Mexico and Texas too. https://www.aljazeera.com/amp/news/2025/5/3/why-is-measles-spreading-in-canada-mexico-and-the-us

MENNONITES! They send out new colonies all over the place. South America. Canada. Texas. Africa. Of course measles is endemic in other places. The point is that the Texas/NM outbreak and most of the Canadian cases are traceable to Mennonite outbreaks first, because those communities have abysmal vaccination rates. Sorry to burst your bubble. White people, including white immigrants: they can spread disease too. Who knew? 37 minutes ago, JDHillFan said: It’s obvious that you meant measles cases per capita. That’s why you included a link about measles. Then you followed it up pretending you knew something you didn’t. You weren’t even close with your claim. Hard to believe you are going to paint it otherwise. It’s not about pedantry. It’s about not being a blowhard. You failed miserably. It's about calling out stupid racist/anti-immigrant tweets that are re-posted here with no concern whatsoever for whether they're true. (I know you didn't post it, but please don't feel compelled to defend it)

And that's where you will find most Mennonites.” It’s not close to being factual. Nothing but hot air. It’s like Roundy pretending he’s knowledgeable about shipping lanes. 1

Mennonites per capita on one, then measles rates on the other. Report back. thank you. [Mennonites is weird]

Whether it be “Karen Bass has only been in office a few weeks” or “Alberta has the most Mennonites” it’s always entertaining when someone is unwilling, or in your case, unable to own their wrongness.

I stand corrected. Manitoba appears to have the highest percentage of Mennonites. You be you, our dear schoolmarm.

Manitoba has a population of roughly 1.5 million. Manitoba has more than double the number of Mennonites. What does that do to your per capita overlay? I think the answer to that question is that it makes it look like sh*t. Do I have that right? 2 minutes ago, The Frankish Reich said: Manitoba appears to have the highest percentage of Mennonites. You don't find them in NYC except in that Harrison Ford movie. Edited July 22 by The Frankish Reich

AI: Mennonites have a significant presence in Winnipeg, Manitoba, with a large portion of the Canadian Mennonite population residing in the city. Winnipeg is a major urban center for Mennonites, with many integrating into mainstream Canadian life while others maintain more traditional practices. You refuse to get out of your own way tonight.

And still ... no substantive response about how all those Indians are bringing measles from halfway around the globe and the homegrown Mennonites are pure as their white skin.

It’s not a topic that interests me. What I found interesting is why you made a declarative statement about something that you had no clue about. All part of being a know it all I guess. 1

And nothing said about the tweet that started all this? The one that sought to blame strange dark people for a measles outbreak more directly attributable to strange white people?

I just don’t want you spreading disinformation/misinformation/fake news/bullsh*t about the Mennonite population numbers by Canadian province. It’s a disservice to our fellow posters. It’s always fun when a know it all throws up on himself.

Orlando Buffalo Posted July 22 Posted July 22 The measles outbreak is most likely two parts, vaccine hesitancy by native Canadians and the huge influx of non immunized immigrants. The fact that the only two articles I can find with any background completely blames the mennonites without mentioning that the illness was only present in the mennonites because a foreigner brought it is absurd. Canada had zero cases in 1998, when they had Mennonites, but not a high influx of foreigners. https://www.yahoo.com/news/canada-became-centre-measles-outbreak-005040727.html 1

It all worked so great in 2020 why not try it again? Edited July 22 by All_Pro_Bills

Or "Mennonites" and "foreign travelers." Just for example: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mennonites_in_Mexico Not all "foreigners" or "immigrants" are dark people.
