stevestojan Posted May 4 Posted May 4 RFK wants to do placebo controlled trials. As if the measles vaccine hasn’t been tested for years. Also, which families want to sign up to maybe get a placebo? The fact that worm brain doesn’t see the stupidity in this isn’t surprising; it’s just another day in an administration full of clowns. Maybe next we should test placebo seat belts. Who wants to sign up? But we somehow ended up with an electorate that contains people so brain washed that “biG pHaRMa iS bAD” that we have the father claiming measles wasn’t that bad and the vaccine is the problem. The father whose KID DIED OF MEASLES. The right truly is a special breed of ignorant. But let’s continue to take medical advice from a guy who took selfies with a dead bear in Central Park. The weirdo party keeps outdoing their own weirdness.
BillsFanNC Posted May 4 Posted May 4 Were illegals from third world countries with meager at best public health programs vaccinated against measles? 😂

I know it’s tough for the elderly to separate two different points, but try to keep up, gramps. I know you love reminding us that you hate immigrants, but try to stay on topic, bud.
The Frankish Reich Posted May 4 Posted May 4 3 hours ago, stevestojan said: Your point as to how this relates to WormBrain saying we should use a placebo? Sounds real ethical and practicable. Convince a group of people who are rational actors to enroll their kids in a randomized/blind controlled study. 50% chance the kid will get a placebo. Or convince rabid anti-vaxxers who think their kid will turn autistic and never go on a date or play baseball to enroll in that study and have a 50% chance of getting that poison injection. Maybe we should just continue what we've been doing for, oh, 3 or 4 generations of Americans, resulting in the near elimination of measles with no convincing evidence at all of a significant downside?
Homelander Posted July 5 Posted July 5 This is what happens when a country hands over power to the proudly ignorant - low-IQ conspiracy pushers, Fox News zombies, and a lineup of incompetent white grifters cosplaying as leaders. You ditched truth for delusion, traded expertise for blind loyalty and now the damage is undeniable.

SCBills Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Children should get Measles vaccinations. Also we shouldn’t have had 4 years of open borders. Seems pretty straightforward and both are causing the uptick. No idea why both sides can’t agree on this. 1

Without the open borders we would not have had an issue. That being said I did get my kids the measles shot and would again but it should be my choice. 1

To blame this on open boarders is a total cop out. There’s measles outbreaks in pockets all over the country, and guess what? They have the lowest vaccination rates. Florida will likely be the next big outbreak because of the same policies. Illegals have been coming into this country for years and the measles hasn’t become an issure until after COVID. The constant lack of accountability and placing plane by some it too much. 7 minutes ago, JFKjr said: You make your own choices, I'll avoid what I need to avoid. I agree. The numbers jump from 63 to over 2000 since 2010 and you think it is the primarily antivax crowd? We have always had antivax people, the demographic simply changed from hippie liberals to conservatives, what changed is the people bringing it into the country. Without the illegal immigrants the numbers would still be below 100.
The Frankish Reich Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago "The Way of Truth Church" appears to be the source of the SC outbreak. Interesting. I thought it would be La Iglesia del Camino de la Verdad.
