As we all saw after Trey returned from the same injury it takes awhile for a player to regain his old form. gonzo1105 Posted July 21, 2023 Share Posted July 21, 2023 PUP has changed since when most people are thinking. This doesn't mean he is out the first 6 weeks of the season like it used to mean. billsfan89 Posted July 21, 2023 Share Posted July 21, 2023 Makes sense, he had a mid-season ACL tear, going to at least need a bit more time to recover. I think that's why the Jets were always linked to Dalvin Cook once he was made available and subsequently cut. If I were running the Jets I would take a run at Cook, you don't have a long window with Rodgers (at most 2-3 seasons) so you have to make "win now" moves to try and take advantage of that.
