What a weird thread,  why are you hating on the guy weird platform gives you do much of your content?

Because Musk voted for Biden then said he made a huge mistake and now everyone hates him. He was Time's person of the year like 3 years ago and will likely accomplish more than any human in history when he's finished

I guess Q is better than Ole Adolph.  But why hate the guy because you disagree with his politics? Yet you consume the bejeezus out of his platform.  These childish left and right wing purity tests are really damaging our country.

Dude you think everyone right of you is a Nazi, you are personally diluting the term.

I will say that I hate the viewpoints of actual Nazis, but respect their right to free speech if its not directly promoting physical violence. Chomsky had a good quote about it, IIRC.

It's an easy eighth amendment appeal

These are CIVIL matters.

The 8th Amendment bans cruel and unusual punishment for commission of crimes.

Not to mention that the total amount of the fines/penalties would (taking Trump at his word) amount to something like 1/16 of his net worth, hardly "excessive."

You are so far off base that you are somewhere outside the ballpark.

I try not to comment on things I know absolutely nothing about; you should try it!

your comment disproves your last sentence.

The Eighth Amendment generally applies in criminal proceedings, as the most common locus of government punishment, but the Supreme Court has held the Eighth Amendment ’s prohibition on excessive fines can apply in civil forfeiture proceedings, noting that the text of the amendment is not limited to “criminal” cases. 6

United States v. Bajakajian

The Eighth Amendment only applies to criminal punishment and has no application to civil processes1. However, the Supreme Court has held that the Eighth Amendment’s prohibition on excessive fines can apply in civil forfeiture proceedings, noting that the text of the amendment is not limited to “criminal” cases2.

Antisemitic incidents are at an all-time high, the ADL reports

Meanwhile Dems are the party of anti-semites/Iran.
