So he let him leave quietly. As for Frazier, if my hunch is correct (about calling the plays), I think McD did it to help him with HC'ing prospects. Again I hope he's learned from both. I agree with this because if anything it seems to be McD's character. But again, that's my biggest problem here. IMO you must send a clear message to the lockerroom and entire organization that type of mistake is simply unacceptable especially if you believe you could have went all the way to a championship like a lot of fans and media believe. Either way it's over and done with now and agree that best we can hope for is McD learning and evolving going forward.

I'm sure the team got the message when Farwell was, for all intents and purposes, fired. Whether they would rather McD pin the blame on Farwell and fire him publicly, I have no idea. Mr. WEO
1 hour ago, Doc said: So if he brought him along, that means that what I said about half a dozen QBs being able to win those first 3 SBs wasn't wrong, eh? They just had to be willing to go along with all the cheating. And I said that Brady became an elite passer in 2007 so yeah, he lucked into a HOF QB in the 6th round. So BB had to put up with regular Brady for 3 SB rings in 4 years, before HOF Brady arrived in 2007. Or was it 2005, when Brady was the #1 passer in the NFL? That they cannot improve and make adjustments to better themselves. If you truly believe that McD will be the same coach 5 years from now as he is today, you’re greatly mistaken. He’s improved immensely as a HC since 2017 imo. I fully expect a man with his passion and drive to succeed to continue to improve and evolve. The negative stain on your brain doesn’t allow you to see the obvious. While he made a huge mistake and lost that game in the final 13 seconds, he’s been adapting year after year and improving as a HC. Just about any professional, whether in sports or another field, is better after several years into his/her career than at the start of it. Eventually, everyone peaks and then either stays at the same level or declines. In a field that's not dependent primarily on physical ability, there's not really a limit on how long somebody can continue to improve. Many athletes manage to make up for the declining physical abilities by continuing to improve the rest of their abilities. Peyton Manning and Drew Brees come to mind. Brady's in this group, too, although the decline in his physical abilities isn't particularly apparent yet.
