If it's still in the Kansas City area then this would be such a dumb thing to get mad about.

Oh, it would be a huge thing to get upset about...

Kansas City the major city, is in Missouri.

Kansas City, the smaller suburb is in Kansas.

If they move to Kansas it will take revenue away from the state of Missouri and give it to the state of Kansas.

That's a pretty good windfall for Kansas and a big loss for Missouri.

Or the Philadelphia Warrions moving to Oakland (Golden State Warriors). (Warriors is historically connected to a Delaware Indian tribe, near Philadelphia.)

Or the Atlanta Flames moving to Calgary.

Or the Charlotte Hornets moving to New Orleans and keeping their name (before becoming the Pelicans). (Charlotte was referred to a "hornet's nest of rebellion" by a British general.)

Probably a lot more examples too.

And then the Atlanta Thrashers moving again to become the Winnipeg Jets II

What is it with Atlanta losing hockey teams to Western Canada?

Kansas City is in both Missouri and Kansas, so this seems much ado about nothing.

Im a little surprised Missouri didn’t put up. More of a fight.  Maybe they did as I’m not privy to their local news.

It like they are moving San Antonio or Toronto.
