What was the blocking scheme on this play?

Good explanations, everyone, thanks. I hadn't thought of the concept that #91 is Josh's responsibility, at least not that way, but that makes sense. I also thought Josh would be keying on #91, but in reality he's probably keying on #8 like @patzen says.

I think 21 had Singletary in coverage.

Might have had the assignment of being a pass rusher only if the RB stayed to block.

Hmmm, you could be right....I'm unsure of the proper terminology but I think he and #43 are "mush rushing" with the assignment of containing Allen from rolling out or escaping to the R, but 21 certainly seems to have responsibility for that gap and the RB if he comes through it

It's still a "Cover 0" look with no safeties and one more guy at the line than we have hats blocking.

The Bills RG, Feliciano I think, pulled around the left side and was beyond the LOS when the pass was thrown.  I think it was borderline whether he was so far downfield that he should have drawn a penalty.  Fortunately we didn't get a flag (maybe none was warranted) and the TD counted.

But because he was downfield he wasn't available to help block for Allen in the pocket.
