Daboll better get "smarter"

there were a number of head scratching plays throughout the season.

This is one of those comments that cracks me up. Ive yet to find a fan base that doesnt think their offensive play caller doesnt dial “a number of head scratching plays.” Whether its Josh McDaniels or Sean McVay, its always the same comment.

Sure, but the obsession with giving Frank Gore touches when he gets 0-1 yard every single time was hard to watch.

Daboll hasn't proven anything yet. He might be good, he might be bad. Time will tell. I'm not convinced either way. Hope he is good, though.

I'll admit that he went a hair too far giving Gore touches.  That said, Gore played really well early on. Like, really well.  He tailed off towards the end.  But by that point, the majority of his touches were change of pace/situations where the priority was ball security.

That said, the overall product needs to improve.  I tend to think last year we had more execution problems than coaching problems, but it all still eventually falls on him.

3rd and 2 and we were running QB sweeps. Thats how much he trusted/wanted to use gore.

Houston Playoff game ..   The Bills were on the 42 yard line and in FG range indoors

Instead of Trying the attempt ....

4th and 27 call a pass play?.

Those QB sweeps were automatic (when the blocking was even decent). Also, that 1-2 yard run is more about the blocking than the back.

Why are you posting a clip where the O-line couldn't execute?

Kick the FG and the game changes!!!

Daboll pulled  shite of his ass and blew it up!!!

Who put the O-Line in that situation?   Play calling.

FG v go for it on fourth down is a McDermott decision.

Start a poll and lets see who's fault it was.

Daboll

McDermott

Allen

O-Line

Poll won't tell you much...the only think you can see is the O-line break down immediately.  You don't know what the play call is (the play fell apart too quickly); you don't know what McDermott decided; you don't know what Allen saw (maybe someone has the all-22 I guess).

which is a head scratcher.

Hauscha on right hash was horrible but from the middle or the left he was spot on.

I made a mental note of it game after game.

In a dome with no wind ....  proper placement.  Tie game.

another note.  Was it really intentional grounding, or did the Ref's screw the Bills?
