There should be a national dialogue in getting back to work

Teacher can stay home and Zoom in his/her curriculum.   It's not rocket surgery.

I'm in a VERY people oriented business.  I have not sat in the same room with a client for nearly 4 months and have been busier than ever.

I can see it working in your industry.

Interaction with a present teacher is important for kids. Will an aide be needed in every room where a teacher decides to stay home?

Millions and millions are back to work, and many never stopped working. I find it laughable that the government run schools with their union teachers feel like they're the only ones that cannot get back to work. Hilarious!  (I'm sure it's "all about the kids".)

Where is this coming from?

Trump is the only one making this an issue.

Are you living under a rock?  Everything in the world doesn't begin and end with Donald Trump.

Nope.

I just can't find anyone in a position of power saying their public grade schools are closed this fall.

Help me out - besides Trump always needing an enemy and dividing us daily - where are all the Superintendents and Governors saying onsite learning is not happening this fall?

I'll wait.

Gov. Eva Braun of Michigan isn't sure she wants schools to open

But... where did she say they were closed this fall?

This is just like when Trump brought back CHRISTMAS? LMAO

Who is trying to distract from his lack of leadership over COVID? Economy? Bountys? Race relations? Rising disapproval rates?  This guy:

Same.

I also come from a family of educators - they would prefer to be IN the classroom and not on ZOOM.

Of course they would.  But that or they are out of work and/or no education for the kids what do you think they'd choose?

They will do what they did the past four months and teach from home.

This is not rocket science.

No that is not what they have been doing the past four months.  The kids have been stuck at home.  Having the kids in a classroom with a Zoom teacher if necessary solves many problems.  One:  Childcare for working parents.  Two: kids with no or poor access to internet.

I didn't bring it up - talk to Trump's press secretaries: @B-Man @Buffalo_Gal

Bringing it up is not all that is involved.

You asked what my family would want.  Don't speak to me about what my family did.  You don't know.

@BillStime  Perfect example.  You laugh.  Come at me. Debate me.  Try to answer my questions.  You don't because you can't.  You lose every time you run away or hide behind some dumbass childish meme.

Jim - you don't bring anything new to the table - you just nitpick where you see fit - why bother?

Oh I bring lots to the table. I bring a debate.  I ask questions to dig deep into why people have stated the position they have made.  If they have any integrity they will defend their position by answering the question. Those with no integrity come back with silly responses or dumb memes and refuse to answer my questions.  Sorry if you don't know what a debate looks like.
