What does that have to do with a discussion of whether the best players are naturally predisposed to be coaches? Here's a simple question. Why haven't great players filled more coaching positions over the past 50 years? That's over 1500 team seasons...and less than 20 HOFers were offered any coaching spots. Obviously, most don't want to coach. The rest....NFL FO's don't have any reason to believe because you were a great player, you will be a useful coach in the NFL. So it has nothing to do with "what talent you are handed"...they aren't getting offers. Same for Ed Reed.
