Used to be Cape Cod, til all my friends and family grew old, and I realized I didn’t need a big beach house that slept 20 or more. Ever been to Biltmore? It's especially beautiful at Christmas. Drove across the Smokies to get there. I understand that the parkway across the Smokies is bumper to bumper around Mother's day due to people driving to see all the wild plants & flowers in bloom. I too do not remember any screens on the Comet I don't remember a water slide either but I last went around the last time you went so yeah it was after. Actually, at that time I was working as an attendant on the waterslide at Snyders Darien Lakes, back when all they had was that and paddleboats. I too do not remember any screens on the Comet It was on the first car, like a windshield, but with screen fabric. Verry useful, especially if you rode after dark. If you're talking Crystal Beach I have no idea, they were put in after I last went in the mid to late 70's. If mentioning Snyders I don't know, I left in 78 for the Army.
