Allbright's mock:

Allbright predicts Christian Wilkins. I am in agreement, as I mentioned yesterday. Doesn't take into account who I WANT, but that's who I think it'll be. I also think it's possible that Hockenson is still on the board and Bills pass on him for Wilkins. A certain segment of Bills Mafia will be furious, but it's hard to argue with a d-lineman over a tight end.

If it actually fell this way, I wonder if Beane would try for Oliver over Wilkins...

Depends who they have rated higher and if the cost to move up outweighs the difference between the two. I would take Wilkins and not move up.

I doubt you will beat the package that the Lions will get from ATL who have a larger jump up.

Which is fine. I would not rule out the possibility that the Bills have Wilkins equal or higher on their board than Oliver

Peter Schrager 2019 NFL mock draft 3.0

PICK 9

BUF.png

Jonah Williams - OT

School: Alabama | Year: Junior

Many have called Williams "the safest pick" in this entire draft. An absolute gamer who wants to play tackle at the next level but may make more sense as a guard. One of the most competitive players in this class, he'd immediately add toughness and smarts to the Bills' offensive attack.

Here are the latest rumors surrounding the draft and news around the NFL.

2:20 p.m.

Arizona Cardinals general manager Steve Keim reportedly reached out to Alabama defensive tackle Quinnen Williams and informed him he's still a possibility to go first overall. (Ian Rapoport, NFL.com)

1:15 p.m.

Mississippi State pass-rusher Montez Sweat may have been misdiagnosed with a heart condition that has caused some teams to take him off the draft board. Sweat's heart wall was measured to be nearly 2.0 cm thick at the NFL combine, but experts are now saying his heart wall is 1.5 cm thick. That measurement would mean there is no risk for Sweat under the diagnosis. (Ian Rapoport, NFL.com)

12:15 p.m.

The Jets, Lions, Dolphins, Seahawks and Rams reportedly have interest in trading down in the first round of the NFL draft. (Tom Pelissero, NFL.com)

How can you take a player in the top ten who does not know how to run block? The audio says he's been working on getting his body in the right position and such. Seriously? He's just learning now? He didn't like football in high school? C'mon Buffalo, don't do it. Dillard is so not the guy. He has good feet and he's big. That guy is not a top ten pick. This is a guy who looks the part who wants to make a living. Don't do it.
