Overall, the historically good teams in that division have regressed, so it seems pretty even.

I'll give the Browns the edge, since they're the only team that seems to have gotten better....much better.

And Mayfield's the real deal.

I'm with you on 1 & 2.

Still not sold on #3.    1 year wonders are abundant in the NFL

A locker room with Mayfield, OBJ and Landry led by a rookie coach seems to be a recipe for disaster.  Throw in the drama with Hunt and hard to tell what the results will be on the field.

That said, the other teams have taken hits and Cleveland looks to be the best of the bunch.

Eh, OBJ and Landry played together in college, and Mayfield doesn't seem to have had problems with landry before.  I do see Hunt being a distraction though.

They have to be the favorites.  Young team and I bet they love Mayfield's balls out leadership.

Steelers are on life support.  I think the Meanie Big Ben was completely overblown by the one D-bag who is now gone.  But the talent on that team is slowly draining away.

Cincy is  a mess as usual.  Those fans will be longing for the years when they went one and done every year in the playoffs.

Ravens are at the mercy of one of the worst passing  QBs in the league (get ready for every team Jackson faces to be dialing up the same abuse that even the LA Choke Kings laid on him in the wild card game.

Um, they were the favorites to win the North BEFORE they traded for OBJ.  They are now the OVERWHELMING favorites to win the North and will be a team that will be dangerous barring injuries.

They are certainly a legit Super Bowl contender TODAY on PAPER.  We wont really know how legit of a contender they are until all this starts coming together on the field.  They got a pretty good front 7 and one good DB, but I am not sold on their Defense being championship ready yet.  KC to me is the favorite today in the AFC even though they have had some losses in free agency so far.

I expect Cleveland to try and add some secondary help rest of FA and in the Draft.  If they cant get their D to be at least Solid, they COULD be better than the current SB faves out of the AFC, the Chiefs.  KC Defense took some blows already this offseason, and it wasn't good to begin with.  Cleveland now has more offensive talent at the skill positions than even the loaded Chiefs did last year.  Doesnt mean Baker will approach Mahomes 2018 season next year, but this offense is loaded and Baker already had a very strong rookie year.  So its more than reasonable to think the Browns will have one of the better offenses in the AFC.

Honestly the team they most closely resemble for me right now is the Rams.  Loaded offense, young QB, strong DL, terrible secondary and LBs.  Like the Rams, there are individuals on the D that are very talented, but as a unit it has a lot of weaknesses and holes.

If Baker can keep making progress, this team will be a threat to consistently score 30+ every week between the passing and run game.  They are likely going to be tough to keep up with, but I won't truly believe they will be a serious SB contender until they can prove they can also get some stops on defense consistently enough.  And right now, the secondary is a major question mark outside Ward and the LBs need help too.
