T master Posted November 28, 2018 Share Posted November 28, 2018 Apparently some of the Bills old front office people must have followed St. Doug because the jump to sign Bortles after a decent year has Bills old front office move stamped all over it !! Now they will have to pay him like the Bills did Fitz when they released him because you don't pay a back up that kind of cash to sit the bench !! I haven't seen much of Bortles play besides the two games vs the Bills, but that is honestly all you need to see. Guy couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat Why did they keep him? Did Marrone prefer him? It seems unlikely, since one of the reasons he left the Bills was because EJ Manuel was being forced down his throat. you mean to tell me that he preferred Blake friggin Bortles going into the season?!
