Nagy on Kyle Long, takeaways from win over Jets (22:37)

Head coach Matt Nagy addresses the media Monday at Halas Hall.

Bears coach Matt Nagy told reporters Monday that right guard Kyle Long's right foot injury was still being evaluated and more would be known in the next 24-48 hours.

Long sustained the injury with 3:23 remaining in Sunday's win over the Jets when a player rolled up the back of his leg while he was blocking on a running play. The 6-6, 316-pounder was helped off the field and then carted to the locker room.

3 things that stood out in Week 8 win

The Bears snapped a two-game losing streak and moved back into first place in the NFC North with an impressive 24-10 win over the Jets Sunday at Soldier Field. Here are three things that stood out in the game:

(1) After two sub-par outings, the Bears defense reverted to its early-season form.
(2) Quarterback Mitchell Trubisky continues to excel with his arm and legs.
(3) The Bears clinched the victory by relying on their running game late.

The HC is holding his normal Monday Presser today at 4 PM ET because of short week due to MNF.  We'll get the latest updates from McDermott on the Anderson and Edmunds injury fronts and hopefully his thoughts on the starting QB for this week.    Daboll and Frazier follow McDermott at approximately 4:30 PM.

Presser Links that can be viewed on demand will be posted once available:  Buffalo Bills Live
