Why Is Our Government Putting People In Cages?

No, I'm telling you that they already have procedures in place, and have been doing this for more than ten years or more.  Releasing detained children to the care of an identified caretaker is not a "new" problem - it's an already-solved one.

What do you think that means?

Going out on a limb here that there is something foul afoot and some sabotage to push blowback on the 45 admin.

Here's why:

An illegal alien smuggled a woman’s daughter into the U.S. and sexually abused her after promising her mother a job, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) officials said Tuesday.

Ramon Pedro arrived at a land border crossing at the Ysleta Port of Entry in Texas with his alleged daughter in April when U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials took him and his daughter into custody.

Both were released under the condition that they would show up for their immigration court hearings.

Pedro and his alleged daughter were admitted to Fresno Community Regional Hospital in Fresno, California, on July 26 to undergo screening for Tuberculosis when doctors determined the girl had been raped.

Once hospital staff notified the police, they determined that Pedro was not related to the girl, according to a DHS official.

The DHS official said the victim had been told by her mother “to accompany Pedro to the United States” so he could find the mother a job.

This is commonplace enough that it's considered normal by the people tasked with patrolling the border.

New Mexico completes construction of more than half of its barrier-wall along the U.S.-Mexico border.

U.S. Customs and Border Control confirmed this week more than 11 miles of wall west of Santa Teresa has been built since the beginning of August.

Officials touted support for the steel wall, saying the completed 20-mile structure will be more difficult to cross.

Federal judges in small courts need their ***** kicked.

I think what Mitch and Trump are doing with judges will reshape the court system for many, many years to come. While every decision will not be "perfect" (ie not something I agree with ? ), a decline in activist judicial decisions will be a welcome change.

While the judge clearly has an agenda, he isn't wrong.

The President isn't able to add provisions to laws passed by congress. It was wrong for Obama to do it, and still wrong under Trump.

Reading closer, he also said Congress was wrong (unconstitutional) on the law they passed (shared information).

According to this judge, everyone is wrong except him.

This is a great decision.  Congress can't pass a law that requires the states to cooperate with the federal government; conversely, the states (and cities) can pass laws - or even make executive decisions - that supersede federal law.

Now lets apply that standard to DACA.  Or the ACA.  Or the EPA.  Or Title IX...

U.S. top court snubs environmental challenge to Trump's border wall

The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday rebuffed a challenge by three conservation groups to the authority of President Donald Trump’s administration to build a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border, a victory for Trump who has made the wall a centerpiece of his hardline immigration policies.
