Guys like Levi Brown, Brian Brohm, Jeff Tuel are the types of prospects that compare to Peterman. They were extreme long shots (outside of Brohm) that looked terrible. The pressure on coaches to be decisive is immense. They can get away with erroring on the side of caution. They get fired sooner for erroring on the other side. An example of that mentality is when Rex chose to punt late in the Miami game even though he knew it would very likely cost the Bills the season.
