Officials say he sustained burns to his abdomen and hands and cuts after the crude pipe bomb exploded. Law enforcement officials say Ullah was inspired by the Islamic State, but apparently had no direct contact with the terrorist group. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly about the suspect or incident. Dog bites man. .
