And every hotel/street have multiple cameras.

so.... what more can we add to help solve such a grossly public crime?

i guess an IQ over 50 to call yourself security or investigators?

and maybe try to make them give a darn about doing their job?

Not to be argumentative.................but "multiple" is not quite the right term.

They have cameras EVERYWHERE.

there is almost no place in Las Vegas that you are not on camera.

Which again begs the question....................what is going on ?

The best assessment I've heard is an arms deal gone bad. The second best is a ritual sacrifice.

That's how fubar'd the investigation has been so far...

But the good news is people are waking up in droves and the veil is thinning. Got to keep pushing, keep questioning, and we'll get the truth.

Laptops can work without drives... Dev or Tom or any of the computer engineers here might be able to explain that more because that's about as far as my understanding goes - that it's possible...

Anything's possible in technology.

In the late 1990s a lot of companies were selling and supporting diskless workstations. It was seen as a good way to secure data since no one could abscond off with the data. Sun Microsystems was one of them. The computer would be turned on and everything downloaded as needed and all data stored on a server. The cloud before it was called "the cloud".

I believe Google at least at one point was selling something like this.

Here's an ad for someone that sells diskless boot software.

Now if he was using something like this, his data would be in "the cloud" somewhere perhaps. Unless he stored it on his own server somewhere. Shouldn't be too hard to find.

So this never really happened? They are going to shut down any attempt to look into it?

So far 5 of the survivors - who spoke up questioning the narrative - have died in random ways (car crashes) since the event.

Could be coincidence, but since the investigation has been so shoddy it's fair to wonder if it's something more.

Just watched the video of the "2nd 4th floor shooter"

It's just some flickering light on a very low quality video shot in poor light.

Hard to say what it is; I suspect it is some kind of reflection of something other than a gun firing. That entire building is covered in windows which sort of look like gold mirrors.

Funny how everything goes in cycles. Newspapers will be on the brink of extinction right around when everyone decides it is impossible to tell what is true information and made up internet psycho bull ****.

And that's when intelligent people, at least, will go back to legitimate, professional news sources for information.

It will take a while to get there.

Intelligence is borrowing good books from the library and reading 50-100 pages a night before watching any TV.

Sometimes this leaks onto the internet, but mostly it be in library resource stacks......

Well worth it....

5 hours ago, Deranged Rhino said:

The co-owner of the Four-Seasons (the top four floors of Mandalay Bay) was just arrested in SA...

https://www.cnbc.com/2017/11/04/billionaire-saudi-prince-alwaleed-bin-talal-arrested-in-corruption-crackdown-local-reports.html

This is relevant due to the access to the helipad and the reports of a VIP helicopter taking off during the shooting from the roof. It's also a way for the weapons to have been brought into the suite without having to go through the freight elevator (or past any number of cameras that would have showed the shooter bringing up that many weapons into his room).
