Beating Bengals would be more impressive than last two.

I don't think you're a hater, but I don't get how beating the Bengals (IF we are fortunate enough to do so) could possibly be more "impressive" (from the thread title) than beating the highly touted Broncos and Falcons. It's FAR froma slam dunk, but they are not as good as the teams we just beat. Period.

Well. For starters we dont know for sure that the Bengals are worse than Atlanta. It would be very logical to assume that. Atlanta did go to the Superbowl last year and has a very very very talented team. At the moment they have a better record than cincy and Id say it 99 percent likely they finish that way BUT...

Buffalo is a little beat up.

Cincinati has the third best defense in the league.

Cincys offense can put up some numbers. Theyve proven that over the past three or four years.

This is essentially a must win if Cincy wants to make the playoffs. They will play a desperate game.

Buffalo just played two very intense games against two high quality opponents These past two weeks. It has to have taken something out of them.

Given the above I think this is a better win. It puts us at 4-1 and its another conference win. Ill be more impressed if they win this week. Its really a big game for us that does wonders for our playoff chances if we do it and we go into the bye 4-1.

That's fine. I believe he is in the same tier of QB as Tyrod. The way you post it sounds like you are saying he is in the same tier as Tim Tebow.

I'm far from being the only one that thinks he is over rated. The defense continues it's fine play, Dalton will turn it over on Sunday. Maybe a few times.

No one is arguing all those points. I get this is a tough game. I'm going, but I'm expecting a let down. Do you get beating the highly touted Broncos with a leading defense and then the undefeated Super Bowl team on the road would be viewed by 99.9% of the population as being more "impressive" than the 1-3 Bengals?

Yes. Because of the reasons I stated. You said yourself your expecting a let down. If this was the week after the bye Id be singing a totally different tune. Given the circumstances and the position this could put us in with respect to the playoffs its going to require a very mature approach by this team to win. They get this win Ill be convinced they are for real barring any disasterous injuries in the following weeks.

I get all that. Let's simplify things. What's more impressive? (The thread title..."impressive") Team A beating an undefeated and 3-0 team B coming off a Super Bowl appearance? Or Team A beating Team C who sits at 1-3. I get it's a tough game, but take the names and emotion out of it, and it's a no brainier. Every game counts, and the AFC games are critical, but try to open your mind a bit.

Troll much?

In what world is beating a 2-0 team and a 3-0 team (SB runner-up) less impressive than beating a 1-3 team who has only beat an 0-4 team!

He's made up his mind. Sadly... Sure, we could lose, but that doesn't change the facts. Silly....

Your being completely ridiculous if you think im trolling or the OP is trolling. Winning these types of games are what separate playoff teams from non playoff teams. Do you think these last two wins were easy? It has to have taken something out of them in the short term and Cincy is probably one of the better 1-3 teams Ive seen recently. Hope the Bills dont have your attitude. Theyll lose by 20 if they do.

How is he over rated? Lets start there. Do you think people are claiming he is elite? I see no one saying that. He isn't elite. If people think he is then yeah, they are over rating him.

Do you think he is terrible? Like EJ Manual terrible? If so, I think you are underrating him. Then there is the in between where I would put him. A somewhere between a 15-25 QB. Which is about where Taylor would sit in somewhere. So like I said, he is on the same tier as Tyrod.

As for turnovers.. over the last two years and this year he has thrown 49 TDs to 19 INTs. Tyrod is 42 to 13 respectively. So he has protected the ball almost as good as Taylor has.

It's always a challenge to win that third straight game when you haven't been a consistent winner. Cincinnati, however, is not Denver or Atlanta. If Buffalo plays the way they've shown themselves capable of playing, they should come out of this with a win though. This season has shown us on the other side that every team in the league is capable of losing. Well, I guess Kansas City hasn't shown us that yet, but they will.

As impressive as the last two wins have been, it is altogether different to go on the road against a familiar conference opponent as a slight favorite and pull out the victory. It was not too many years ago that the Bills went to Cincinnati 'on a roll' and got their ass handed to them.

I am cautiously optimistic at the moment, but get this W and I will be fully on the bandwagon.

This one has me kinda nervous as well.

Frankly....I am worried for TT's health....their just came back from suspension middle linebacker is a complete ahole

Hopefully before the game Richie explains to him what will happen if TT catches a cheap one. We have our own maniac to keep it even.

I'm (seriously!) nervous too, but to win it over a team that would then be 1-4 is NOT more impressive than winning over teams that were 5-0 combined when we faced them.

No whats sad is your attitude. Anybody who has anything even remotely negative to say about this team must be a hater with an f-ing agenda. Even John Murphy was pumping the brakes this week and hes the biggest kiss a-- on the planet. The Superbowl teams were far more talented than this sqaud and they laid plenty of eggs during their run. Its hard to keep up the level of intensity needed to win the way we did the last two weeks. Cincy is better than their record in all likelyhood and the game is in their backyard. Total trap game if we can even put the game in that category. Not sure the Bills have earned the right yet to even think that way. Ill be thrilled and impressed if they win. Edited by Billsmovinup

Denver > Cini

Bills > Denver

Atl > Cini

Bills > Atl

Cini > Bills ????? This does not seem logical

...and THAT is why we play the games! I'm not cocky in the slightest!

HA! What do you know about my attitude? That may be more telling about YOUR attitude. I said above I wasn't calling out haters. I'm just trying to state the obvious. I'm not arguing it could be a dangerous game. I've stated that repeatedly. Is it more "impressive" than beating the Broncos then the Falcons on the road. NO. No it is not.

Dont think anyone is saying Cini is better. I think what some are saying is that given the circumstances, which Ive cited ad nauseum, winning in cinci could arguably be their most impressive win to date. Given the circumstances.
