But, but, but....it has a great view of Mt Diablo!!! I drove through Lafayette every day and it's a real nice area. But there are a lot of great homes there not about to slide down a cliff. I really liked Lafayette -- tagged that as our spot until wifey made a trip out here and decided it would be Marin and not the East Bay for us! All I can think that Marin has over Lafayette (personally I never considered that East Bay. You leave the EB behind as soon as you head through the tunnel) is that it's close to Sonoma.
