On a side note, he looked scared to death when Marshall caught that first pass, shoved him, and screamed in his face after Gilmore pulled him down almost ending his season. MPT Posted September 16, 2016 Share Posted September 16, 2016 (edited) To be fair to him that holding call they made on him on 3rd and 11 on the first drive was awful. Maybe that threw him off his game. That's the only possible excuse I could come up with for Gilmore. The refs made it clear very early that the Jets receivers could push off constantly but our cornerbacks couldn't even be near them. Actually, another pretty good excuse is that he had zero help from the [non-existent] pass rush and [non-existent] safeties. When the coaches AND the players are terrible, there is no hope.
