Soccer would be better if:

1) the "field" was smaller

2) the "goals" were smaller

3) the "ball" was smaller and shaped differently

3) every player had a stick

4) it was played on ice

Some soccer is cool with top guys and battles between foreign countries, but its a purely olympic sport in my eyes and therefore not only annoying, but pointless, as we Americans know we are better then everyone.

The Origins of American Football

The origins of football have been traced back to the game of rugby. In 1823, a gamresembling what is today modern day football began at the famous Rugby boys’ school in England. American students in Princeton and Harvard Universities quickly adopted a form of football which they began to steadily play. Many of the early football games were extremely violent and rough.

maybe its cuz im italian but my favorite team is roma

it ranks in my favorites under nfl but over hockey

the reason i dont follow itreligiously is because it is very corrupt and hence kills the whole fun of following it

i dont know how people can find it boring or say its for sissies when these guys get their legs chopped

Men's World Cup Dive Artists ruin it for me.

I don't watch soccer a lot, but I do like it. Especially the larger formats like Euro Cup/World Cup etc.. Never got into US Soccer.

 

Penalty shots can be pretty great by the way. They do go to overtime first, and then go to penalty shots, so it's not like they just end games like that all the time. It's pretty suspenseful when a huge game comes down to PS.
