WotAGuy
I'm surprised no one brought this up earlier. On the broadcast it was clear that Ryan asked out loud if he should challenge and a guy next to him said No. I thought it was Lynn. Guess not. The devil made him do it. BuffaloBillsForever
The year the Ravens won the superbowl, Harbaugh and Ray Ray mentioned the "pastor" quite a bit to the media that year. He was also on the sideline as well during games. It is not uncommon. Edited November 30, 2015 by BuffaloBillsForever

Boolay
Now I've heard everything.... Throw the Chaplain under the bus for Rex's lack of challenge. WTF were you saving the final timeout for? Was your rock solid D going to force a 3 and out? And you went for it on 4th anyway...

dave mcbride
And, through the magic of youtube, we get to see the Chaplain duke it out in street clothes mid-game against a Bronco! He's the guy in white with the baseball hat; the detailed look begins at around 1:14.

dave mcbride
And sound judgment. Lol. Well, it turns out that the chaplain made the right call. Hogan didn't catch that ball after all: https://video.twimg.com/ext_tw_video/671162838434598913/pu/vid/1280x720/_p3qiq3a2Ej8QgvE.mp4. Check out the first rear-view angle. No way does that ruling get overturned after seeing that.

Hogan took 3 steps for his football move which means he became a "runner" who did not lose the ball until he was downed by contact.

No way is that overturned. And if that's a catch it's also a fumble - the ball was coming out while he was upright. GG
That's a catch all day long. Hogan took 3 steps for his football move which means he became a "runner" who did not lose the ball until he was downed by contact. I think the point of contention was whether the ball was secure when he was taking those steps. The ball moves while in his grasp, so the question would have been - a bobble or moving it to the other hand to avoid contact?

26CornerBlitz
@YardsPerPass Should I challenge that Hogan catch?
