My fiance and I are heading to Boston this weekend for the Zac Brown Band concert at Fenway. We will be staying at a friend's house in Springfield Friday night and then in Boston Saturday and Sunday. Concert is Sunday night.

Here's some suggestions I've compiled so far, please let me know if you've had positive/negative experiences with any:

1. Sam Adams Brewery Tour

2. Fanueil Hall Marketplace (Quincy Market)

3. Cheers Original (better than replica I've heard?)

4. Mike's Pastry Shop

5. La Familia Giorgio's

6. Bleacher Bar (Bills Backers Bar?)

7. Cask-n-Flagon

8. Boston Tea Party Ships and Museum, I guess they have a cool interactive re-creation.

I've also heard that the Boston Duck Tours are pretty cool.

Any of you TBD'ers have any other recommendations for restaurants, attractions, tours, etc.?

Have fun but I can tell you the same thing I tell everyone going there.Cool town but the rudest people I've met anywhere in the world.

That's only true if you allow it to become true. I have kids.

I have sex with my dog in the room. My mother in law in the next room. My mom in the next room.

It doesnt matter. Im closing the door and its happening.

Unless my wife is sick we are on a 3-4 times per week year round. No exceptions.

She's a keeper!

So you have one room for sex with your dog, another for sex with your mother-in-law, and a third for sex with your mom?

And you do this 3-4 times per week with kids at the house, and only stop with your perversions to take care of your wife when she's sick?

Someone should call the cops.

I've been married for 10 years... Even though I don't have the 30 year experience to share- I can speak for many men (not all) and give you the rundown on how most marriages work in that department....

Following marriage, it won't slow down right away.... Then you will have a child (supposing that's what you want). Following the child, it slows way down- that is, only until she wants another... Then it's all the time!!! Then it's back to very seldom.... It will be pretty sporadic... Sometimes it will be frequent, then you hit dry spells.... It will never be as it was before marriage...

Thanks. After all these answers, I'm feeling better about being single!

I actually read it this way the first time!

LMAO.

Im just being real.

At first my wife never did it with the dog in the room. Now it doesnt matter. (This is actually pretty funny. He gets all scared and gets off the bed.)

I just moved into a much bigger house. I was in a 2 bedroom. Now Im in a 4 bedroom house. Basically I moved in with the mother in law. She couldnt afford anything and Im pretty much taking over.

I moved July 1st.

The first week was weird. Having sex while her mom was still awake in the other room was weird. Room is across the hallway, but still.

But 2nd week I told my wife. "Look hun, I dont care if you're mom is awake, asleep, we need to do our thing" So now it doesnt matter.

I felt odd the first time. But not anymore. That's what I meant by IM CLOSING THE DOOR AND ITS HAPPENING.

Regarding my mom. I would do the same. I would close the door and do it even if my mom is still awake. Doesnt matter. Im closing the door and it's happening.

Im not doing the "lets wait till everybody goes to sleep" Screw that! Cuz then I'll fall asleep too. That's my sex logic.

FIrst off, just wanted to say thanks to everyone for the suggestions. They really helped make the trip awesome.

Friday:

We left Friday late morning with plans to spend the night in Springfield. We were in the mood for some burgers, and on the suggestion of my friend who lives there, we ate at Plan B Burger Bar which is directly next to the basketball hall of fame. Burgers were great and I sipped on a couple Green Flash Imperial IPAs.

Saturday:

We left Springfield early AM with the plan to head straight to the Harpoon Brewery. My buddy who's lived in Springfield about a year suggested to park at the end of a T line and take the train into the city. Unfortunately he'd only been on the green line, so traversing the red and silver lines to get to Harpoon took longer than we expected. Tours were booked until a few hours after we arrived so we just decided to drink in the beer hall and had a fantastic time. Great brewery and I'd recommend it to anyone.

Legal Seafood had a spectacular view from the 3rd floor and was a really cool place, but unfortunately it was mobbed so we had a few drinks and moved on.

The "Hubway" was the greatest thing we discovered all trip. We basically got an entire tour of the city on bike for $6.00. Only catch was that you had to return the bike within 30 minutes to one of the 100 Hubs around the city. Once you returned it, you could re-rent a bike. It was awesome, we took them everywhere.

We took a quick walk around Quincy Market/Fanueil Hall but it was mobbed so we went to Union Oyster House. I loved it. Oysters and clam chowder were both awesome. The house beer was great too.

We picked up some bikes again and rode around the North End for awhile. Everywhere we seemed to go all day was pretty packed but we didn't care, we were having a great time. Next we took a ride around the Boston Commons and the State Building on our way over to the original Cheers. It was really cheesy and nothing like what I was expecting but it was still cool to see.

We took the T back to our cars and drove into our hotel in Cambridge. By that time, we were exhausted and decided to just have a couple drinks at the hotel bar.

Sunday:

Woke up early and took a walk around MIT and picked up the bikes again. We took a ride over the Harvard Bridge, rode around Kenmore and Fenway, then dropped off the bikes and walked literally all of Newbury and Boylston. Epic people watching on Newbury while we had brunch at Stephanie's. Really expensive, but food was phenomenal. As we were walking down Boylston, there was a police escorted motorcycle parade. Had to be a couple thousand bikers that shut down the street for a good 15 minutes. We then rode around Copley Plaza, Prudential Bldg, and finally began our pre-concert drinking at Boston Beer Garden. Bar hopped around a couple places that I can't remember the name and finally went into Fenway.

Concert was fantastic. Steven Tyler came up on stage and performed "Dream On" and "Walk This Way". Worth the price of admission on it's own.

All in all, it was an amazing trip and I left Boston with a new appreciation for the city. I've heard of people from Boston being really rude, but I found everyone to be extremely friendly. The only rude person I ran into was a girl trying to push her way through a big group, running into me, and then 30 seconds later dropped her ticket, purse, and money everywhere. I laughed.

Oh, also heard at least 30 "Free Brady!" chants during tailgating at the concert. I wanted to puke.
