The question is, do you use up valuable cap space on Peterson. He will be 30 next month and already has 2000+ career rushes. I would be very surprised if he didn't hit the wall soon. Rice is two years younger, has several hundred fewer career touches and will come cheap. I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss his career as over based on one bad year. I think the connections are certainly there if that is who Rex and Roman wanted. I don't feel like Pegula is the kind of pushy owner that would force that on them though. They are going to review who is available and go get the best guy they can. I don't think Ray Rice fits their vision though.
