They also didn't give away a pair of 1sts...they gave away a 1st and 4th and swapped 1sts; you are over-stating the compensation. That simple I'm not fantasizing anything, YOU are glamorizing their perceived brilliance in staying put instead of moving up...you have no idea whether or not they considered or tried to move up. Also, if you want to say that they used 2 firsts and a 4th to get Watkins, fine. Don't say that they "gave away a pair of firsts and a fourth"; they didn't. That simple. EDIT: I also think you're waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay premature in calling Beckham the better WR, but you already know that you're premature in doing so and don't seem to care.
