Killer show. i and a couple friends had tickets for that show but everything went against us and we could not make it. spent the night at a friends house drinking some really awful malt liquor. alice in chains was was my favorite band at the time and i really liked sepultura, and ozzy is a freaking legend. i was really p!$$ed. swnybillsfan Posted November 7, 2014 Share Posted November 7, 2014 Machine Head has great stuff but this is pretty light. i'm not quite sure how you can categorize machine head as "pretty light". but then again i am getting a bit older and don't really have a taste for speed/thrash metal or the death metal stuff. i always thought machine head was a pretty heavy band, but then again, i have been listening to them for about twenty years now. I lot of the new stuff has that emo/scremo sound and is basically the goth version of Glamrock and it blows or it has horrible pig squeal and couldn't put a cool riff together to save their lives. Hallowed Be thy Name " live " stills gives me chills after all those years. They put a lot of $ into their shows..Definitely worth the price of admission.
