Please Obama you are our only hope.

He appeals to this WH, but, he doesn't realize "you will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy".

I know: let's impose Carbon Rationing on the US, and ignore China and India. In fact, let's make the US pay consumption taxes to the third world. This will solve the problem of Chinese and Indian complete disregard for air pollution! How? Because the US is the reason that these countries are polluting, and the 3rd world needs money for development. 2 birds with one stone! It's the "more Democratic" solution

Cue Howard Dean: "Aeeeeiiieeeee". :lol::rolleyes:

Is it funny that the self described "intellectuals" of China are pushing for Democracy while their counterparts in the US are pushing for a more Socialist Government like China's?

When you make up lies about "the other side", it's easy to hate them. You should try commenting on things that Democrats actually believe.

I'll point out a few things that they don't belive in: accountability, liberty, cause and effect, self-reliance, hard work, tact, class, and transparency.

I tried, but the Democrats said they didn't actually believe that, somebody else made it happen.

Like, "subtraction is harder than addition"?

BO said it. He must believe it.

Democracy and socialism are not opposites - Many of the Scandinavian are both very democratic and very socialistic - Some describe China's system as State capitalism but I think it is better described as an oligarchy which is rapidly moving from a technocracy to an plutocracy. Some of the Chinese leadership are pushing for greater democracy they are also pushing for more safety nets (medical care, old age), and better environmental policies - these moves are more pragmatic than idealistic as social unrest is the chief concern - government safety nets also address a pragmatic issue, without government safety nets the Chinese need extremely high savings/investment rates to feel secure and the Chinese government would like them to save less and spend more so they can transition from an export dominated economy to a more balanced economy where domestic spending is a larger portion of GDP. I googled that phrase to find out what you were talking about. The top site was a super racist website called chimpmania dot com.

Explains a lot about you.

So here we see exhibit "a". Conner doesn't know how to google.

Seriously? What !@#$ing internet are you looking on?

Subtraction is tougher than addition. If you don't believe me, try teaching second-grade math.

So basically, with ALL the serious **** Obama !@#$s up, you picked one thing that was extremely unimportant that he actually got right to criticize him on, AND you managed to miss all the obvious backhanded "federal spending/deficit" references you could make with that statement.

You somehow managed to fail, utterly, at criticizing Obama. You should be ashamed of yourself.

I thought it was quite clever of him to use an accurate quote from Obama and give it a double meaning out of context.

"I can see Russia from my house!"

Well, he's still a jug-eared stuttering doofus in my book, that's likely met his intellectual match at being a math coach to grammar school students. :nana: (and i'm an idiot)

Don't be so hard on yourself. You still have the ability to google better than conner which should be somewhat of a consolation.

What? conner is looking at the same one you are. Didn't the internet decide that your homepage should be changed too, and that seeing low prices on Viagra is in your best interest? Who doesn't want to save money, Tom? Man, you're an idiot sometimes.

After all, conner believes that other people should make most of his decisions for him, and help him along, since that is "the more Democratic" way.

So, what's the problem?

In conner's defense, I'm pretty sure everyone here believes he shouldn't make his own decisions.
