Has anyone ever went to Pittsburgh for a game before and is it fun? I looked at a map and it doesnt look as if there are really a lot of bars or anything near the stadium. And since my wife, Psycho Ward 86, is a fan of theirs, I've gone w/ her to other games, includin' a playoff game a few years ago vs the Chargers. The stadium is very nice and family friendly. boyst Posted April 17, 2013 Share Posted April 17, 2013 I passed by the stadium, drove through Pittsburgh and spent 30 minutes driving around just to see Pittsburgh a few years back. There was something going on in the Stadium, something small, but there was still a lot of action down that way. Traffic seemed pretty easy to get in and out of, as well. Mango Posted April 17, 2013 Share Posted April 17, 2013 I have lived in Pittsburgh now for the last 8 years. Pretty sweet city. there are a fair amount of bars right by the stadium and then downtown. As a guy who doesn't post that often but reads everyday, JR is everywhere, and I read and respect his posts regularly. He can't just become JR in Pittsburgh. Stay strong buddy Also at Jerome Bettis's(?) place the men's urinal is behind a one way mirror, that is behind the hostess stand. That would be Carson street on the South Side, a 5 minute cab ride or a 10 minute walk across the bridge. Of course there are a lot of cops crawling in that area too! but then he won't be JR in Ann Arbor I don't want him to change it.
