Yes! Crazy!!! "Borrowing" money to feed people! Nuts! Money that will end right back in our own economy, crazy! Carzy! Crazy! Who is the idiot that wrote this op-ed?

Here's a thought. How about they quit popping out kids you can't feed? Instead of sending them cash just air drop several thousand cases of condoms.

You've just solved the problem for Dave. He had stated that in giving them the billion we would get it right back. I was wondering how that was going to happen. Eureka, all we have to do is buy a schitload of condoms from an American company and give them to Bangladesh. That way we get our money back. You and Dave make a great team. You should consider a partnership.

Be very, very careful with your choice of words...

People in this country forget where they came from, poor families of multiple children for centuries. You probably wouldn't be here if at least one of your ancestors had not popped out your descendant in a shack somewhere, but then again continue on... you OBVIOUSLY know all the answers.

Assuming you're not a troll just trying to get a rise out of people, your understanding of economics is a !@#$ing joke. You're like a kid who played Madden a couple of times & now thinks he's an authority on all things football.

Please define 'right back.' From my view, we'll be paying interest on that billion from now to ..........................

He's very good at making it hard to determine whether he's a troll or just a moron.

A troll knows enough to play the foil, and get the poster to respond to actual post.

Dave doesn't know how to do anything other than be dismissed as an idiot.

So...you're safe. :D Don't expect some great reveal coming.

Dave is simply exemplary of the left in general: poor personal understanding/willful denial of business/economics, which explains why they they must rely on Paul Krugman, yet have no way of knowing if what he says is accurate. In contrast, I can critique Milton Friedman or any other right-leaning economist, because I understand the material. They are incapable of understanding, never mind refuting, Krugman.

And what do we get in response when we point out their patent ignorance? They tell us we are mean, or less "moral", or less "honorable", ...for knowing WTF we are talking about?

Yes, our "meaness" is the excuse for their ignorance.

Or he's just doing it wrong. Being a troll doesn't preclude being an idiot.

I think for every $1 of spending over the spending the law requires or as agree in the fiscal year budget, taxes should raised by $1.

The majority of Americans could care less about the Government spending because they never actually have to pay for it, it essentially is on a Credit Card. Take it directly out of the income and all of the sudden people will take notice.

Dave, please go borrow 2% of your gross income and donate it a deserving group.
