In fact, that seems more likely. It was an oft cited defense of the incredible job Jauron was doing that the Bills weren't mathematically out of the playoff hunt until after the 13th game or whatever. Sign some good players to pair with good drafts. It's how the winners do it. Spend to the Cap. Don't be cheap.
