  1. I have been watching Manziel for the past two years. I live in Texas and have seen and heard pretty much everything about him. His ups and downs. For a franchise like the Bills he is a win/win in my opinion. He is a money maker off the field with his promotions and trade name "Johnny Football" and he is must see TV when he plays (its like a train wreck when you pass on a highway you don't want to look but you have to and that is the way he is when he plays football) love him or hate him this dude can play. I saw earlier a poster comment "the next spiral he throws will be his first" when was the last time you saw P. Manning throw a perfect spiral? But Peyton gets the ball where it needs to be and in a position for his player to make a play, so does Johnny. I don't know how he will be at the next level but I do know he is a football player. The Aggies lost a lot of heart breakers this year, but the only reason why they were in every game was because of Johnny. People question whether or not he will be able to take a hit at the next level, I don't I see him get hit and hit again against top teams in college (Ala, La, Miss, Auburn) so he can take a hit, plus he has great body control that the hit's he takes aren't as bad as they seem. Take him if he is there no doubt he will put butts in the seats and sell jersey's
  2. I am sorry for being so late to respond to this thread...but after watching and hearing about our coach get ripped all day on radio and TV I thought I might let out some Frustration. I for one liked seeing the fire when answering questions like that, that he probably got asked 100 times over. The reporter that asked those questions should have been listening to the previous 99 responses before asking the question again, but instead of listening he was just planning his question that was already asked.
  3. You don't have to be "established" to be on someone else's Radar. I think we have a couple of WR that will be looked at by other teams when cut day comes, I also think a couple of LB may be looked at as well.
  4. With a lot of mock drafts on NFL.com now day's have the Bills taking G. Smith QB, my question is would you be O.K. with the Bills taking him first and R. Nassib in the third round if he is there? Kind of like the Redskins did last year to have a real QB competition this summer even though we have so many other needs to address. Or would you rather us take C. Warmack in the first and a QB in the second and third since none of the QB's this year really deserve a first round pick and if we did pick one in the first round we would be reaching IMO. Thoughts.....
  5. I think we need to load up on LB and O line as well. We need to follow the game plan of the Steelers of 2004 with a QB that can manage a game and not think he can take it over (like Fitz did last year taking over the game part) and run the ball with our two backs. I would even like to see them draft Lattimore in the third or fourth round so he can replace Jackson in a year or two to give him time to rehad and not push it. We still need a free agent WR that can manage the 2 spot. I think our D will be alright especially our D line with the new Defensive scheme they are going to run this year under Pettine, and if Pettine runs his D anything like Rex they will blitz and blitz some more which will help our DB's out a lot.
  6. Ok first off, Geno Smith may or may not be the first player picked (it;s not a lock) and if he isn't picked first your whole predicition is shot. Second, the Browns have a QB that they like what they need is recievers to catch the ball and get open so I see them going defense. Although I thought about the Bills drafting Mingo and that would make our D line unbelievable if used right, but I see us going with a QB or a LB (the two biggest needs on the team WR is a close third) I actually think the second round or trading back up into the first round late is going to be when the QB fly off the board, there isn't any obvious starters there and there is so much more talent at other positions.
  7. If there is one Notre Dame player I want it's Tyler Eifert and not Manti Tao, I just don't think Eifert will be around in the second round and he is not worth the #8 pick in the first nor is he worth trading up to get back into the first round back end to grab him unless it is just for our number 2 and number 5 or 6 rounder but I don't see that happening.
  8. !!I don't know much about him, but I like it. A new fresh mind in the NFL head coach roll. A guy with NFL expierence, unlike C. Kelly (see The old ball coaches ressume in the NFL) who has never coached at this level. We now have a HEAD COACH not one that will be so involved in the Offense that our D will be forgotten, and one who likes to develop players as well as coaches. I love this move, I never did like the Head Coaches calling Offensive plays, if you wanted to be an Offensive Coordinator you should have interviewed for that job. I am not worried about who the O Coordinator will be, but I bet we at least are going to know his name this year...LOL. I did have a crazy thought about something. What if we got G. Williams back as our Defensive Coordinator. Granted he did get fired as our Head Coach but this guy is a Defense Guru and I bet all coaches put bounty's on guys they just don't call it that and Greg was the only one that got caught. He would have our Defense playing at a high level with the players we have right now and Greg will come cheap and he will be hard up for a Job and nobody else will want him. Just a Thought. Go Bills!!
  9. I would only conisder taking Jones in round 2 in fact I would rather the Bills hire Kyle Shanahan as head coach trade our second round pick to the skins for Cousins and draft another QB in rounds 4 or 5 picking a LB/WR with the first pick and whatever you didn't get in round one pick best LB/WR in round 3.
  10. Here are some players to watch during the cotton bowl that aren't so obvious: Spencer Nealy NT/DT Texas A&M - he is a beast and reminds me of K. Williams. His best game this year was against Alabama where he dominated the center of a stout Alabama O-line. His motor never stops. (would love to see in him Buffalo picking him in the 6th or 7th round. Sean Porter LB Texas A&M - He is pretty obvious probably a first round pick but not worthy of the number 8 IMO. Ryan Swope WR Texas A&M - This guy is fast with great hands. We would probably have to take him in the third or fourth round but I would take him in a heart beat. Loves the game and you can tell by the way he plays. Reminds me of Wes Welker. It wouldn't surpise me if the Patriots took him and let Welker go somewhere else he is that good. I know that these guys are all Texas A&M don't know much about the Big 12 this year since I am an Aggie fan (thank God they had a good season or it would have been a real crappy year) These Aggies are fun to watch.
  11. I tell you I love being a Bills fan with our sorry QB's than being a Cowboys fan with Romo toying with fans thinking they have a chance to always disappoint them in the most critical game. Romo stinks.....Ha Ha Ha. Go Bills!!
  12. First off Your CRAZY to think that we should promote Wanny and hire Norv turner. We need some serious change in the front office. An up and coming coach or a proven coach who might need a change in scenery. I like Marty Schottenheimer with his son as our offensive coordinator; or Rob Ryan as HC (that would be fun if his brother is still here) and Ryan Fitzpatrick as our OC...LOL. (i was just kidding with that one).
  13. I think we should go after Ken Whisenhunt once he gets fired in Arizona. I know Arizona is in bad shape but Whisenhunt is a heck of a coach am maybe he will draft a QB this time istead of trying to sign one off the FA list. He is Pittsburgh grown so he has a good defense and likes to run the ball. I think he would be a great coach here and learned some valuable lessons while coaching the Cardinals.
  14. OK so how much more evidence do you need? This team quite. There is no fire on the side lines no emotion no leadership. Alls you see is Chan, Fitz, and the players looing in up at the score board hoping the clock stops now. I wish we had a back up QB that can play. Buddy you did an awesome job of putting this team together. I mean what is Fitz playing for he has no body to challenge him for playing time so who cares how bad he is, he surely doesn't.
  15. So Glad the sorry a** Bills are getting blown out. This only means the team has given up on Chan and his system along with The Stashes system. Big gains all over the place. Hopefully only a half of football until they are all gone. Make a bold move trade our number 2 next year for Cousins and bring in a coach with some balls. I am tired of watching this team get out coached every week.
  16. At least I have my Sundays back now and I didn't even have to pay for the NFL ticket this year to watch this crap. I say next week we start Brad Smith see what we have in him the rest of the year. Fire Chan and Wanny now like within the next 15 minutes. Start getting ready for the draft and get a coach in here that knows how to coach and will accept the fact that he is the head coach and get involved in every aspect of the game and not just the Offense. If we don't fire Chan let our Offensive Coordinator call the game if we have one (I don't even know what his name is) and see what he has. To be honost I really feel like this team has talent to win in this league. We do need a QB and another reciever and that is it. Our O-line is really coming together, and our defense the past couple of games looks promising. We just need a coach in here, a real coach, with fire and passion. I do like the guy from Stanford that would be nice. I also like Rob Ryan and I really think he would go well in Buffalo plus if he comes in as the head coach maybe we can get his brother as the d coordinator that would be like Christmas in February. And pick a QB by God in this upcoming draft there are plenty of good second round QB's that will be available I.e. L. Jones, T. Bryer, T. Wilson, or E. Manual I would take any one of them in the second. We will see I feel like one of those fans in the movie Major League right now Love em and Hate em at the same time Go Bills!!
  17. CJ is on the bench because he is our best player and we are down by two scores with 4 minutes left in the third plenty of time to come back in this one without our best player. We will just let Fitz throw the game away I am still waiting for the Fitz pick.
  18. That last drive was the drive that killed our season. It's over. Maybe the Bills players should pull off what they did in that movie "Friday Night Lights" walk out on the coach.
  19. Chan needs to take notes see Chan they were in the red zone and actually threw the ball in the endzone twice and when they catch it they don't have to run to the endzone because they are already there. Un like your play calling where CJ or Fred catch it 3 yards behind the line of scrimage then have to run for it and it doesn't work. What if we play Brad Smith at QB is that an option.
  20. I think I figured it out we are running a college sytle offense without the speed. If we did this no huddle I think it would be more effective. But what do I know. and the fact that Chan beats himself every game.
