uticaclub
with all these rumors that the saints would have given us a 3rd, i think people are forgetting we also had a 2nd conditional pick. I would take a 4th and 6th all day instead of a 3rd. As well all know from #1 all the way to Mr. Irrelevant, for pick is guaranteed to be a stud. So having 2 chances is better then 1. DC Grid
Especially at the time when you have been crazy not to think it'd be a high 4th and 6th for a low 3rd. But personally I think all of this is Bs. The story breaks now? Come-on.
Virgil
Agreed. The timing of that story breaking was really fishy to me. I don't know what purpose it served, but still...
dogbyte
Sorry, but how many 6 round picks make the team each year. Some do, but most do not. Now that the Seahawks advanced to the 2 nd round of the playoffs, the Seahawks picks became even worse value. It was a gamble, that just did not work out as planed. As of right now, the Seahawks pick is #24 in rounds 4 and 6, where the Saints pick is # 21 in round 3. Edited January 11, 2011 by dogbyte
Over 29 years of fanhood
No surprise they said that after losing to seattle. Lynch embarresed every player on their D and scored a TD that proved to be the winner. Worth a third to take that away.

Also, it could be a 5th, we don't know what the conditions were to the conditional pick. Edited January 11, 2011 by Ghost of Rob Johnson
Chimp
Quantity over quality just like the pats do. The pats get quality and quantity. They are obviously better in every possible way than the Bills.
uticaclub
brady was a 6th rounder, a 1 in a million 6th rounder. but the more picks the more chances, it's kinda like an educated lotto, all you need is a pick and a dream.
