BillsGuyInMalta
Riems was a good guy...I talked to him a couple of times at Training Camp and he was the only Buffalo Bill to actually recognize me when I kept showing up over the years. Problem is, the guy has Rob Johnsonesque durability problems. I cant say this is shocking.

Alaska Darin
Class act, though drove me nuts with his at times horrendous blocking. Met him at training camp and was able to chat for a few minutes.
stuckincincy
So that's what it was. The tv folks showed him on the sideline with crutches later in the game. They had no idea what was up, understandably.
IDBillzFan
Any of you see his touchdown catch the other night? One thing you can say about him...he can make some bizarro catches.
JoeF
I was sad to see him go. He could get open and was a great option near the goal line...the lack of blocking, the lack of durability and Kevin Gilbride killed him. After the first couple of years, I thought we had someone who could rival Frank Wychek -- but sadly the development never came. I wish him the best in his recovery.....what was it Hogboy used to call him? Rearsmegma....

One thing you can say about him...he can make some bizarro catches. 150994[/snapback] I wore a T-shirt to a game a few years back that said "Jay Riemersma is my dad"... for some reason, people got the biggest kick out of that... while sitting in the upper deck, some guy asked me if that was true. I explained to him that Jay would have had to have me when he was 7, and I think then the guy realized his qusetion was a bit dumb. I don't know why, but people loved that shirt... done in magnificiant sharpie and Hanes XL t-shirt.
Miyagi-Do Karate
JR was one frustrating player. Great hands, but always came down with a 10 week nagging groin injury. I prefer our more durable TE's (of course, I say that at a time when two of them are injured )
KD in CA
I'm still pissed at him for that big drop near the end of the first half against the Jets in the Meadowlands two years ago.
