No no no.. your grandchildren's grandchildren will be paying back Bush's mistakes and illegal wars. Your grandchildren's grandchildren's grand kids will be paying back anything else.

i agree with that too. my point is why let everyone else enjoy the stimulus money? new york city, detroit, miami, california and nevada all got massive stimulus in one form or the other. all which we're paying for. obama gave billions to states and said go use it ... so where's ours?

Goodell is from Jamestown. If anyone will make sure that the Bills stay in Buffalo, it's him. Hate on him all you want for some of his policies, but he's one of the more important figures to look to when it comes to keeping the Bills here.

On that note, how does our Stadium compare to others around the league? Obviously, the Ralph won't hold a candle to Lucas Oil stadium, or that behemoth in Arlington, but what about compared to others like Lincoln Financial in Philadelphia, and Arrowhead stadium?

He was born in Jamestown. Moved from the area in 1971.

Very similar to what FDR did. This is when many stadiums were built to give people jobs. I believe the "Rockpile" may have been one of those projects.

If the NFL can afford to pay outrageous salaries to its players. Outrageous guarantees to unproven draftees, they can afford to build their own stadiums. I wouldn't want any of my tax money going to build a stadium.

Dude.. you live in Cali.. won't be your money.

I agree with people that say a stadium needs to be built closer to Canada. The Niagara Falls area would make most sense to make it easier for Canadian fans and fans from Rochester to get to it. It would be no harder for people from Buffalo to get to than RWS is now. It would be easier. Plus the options for fans needing hotels would be much better. I say force the Senecas to pony up a bigger share of the casino cash to help pay for it. They would benefit big time.

i cannot believe the B S i am reading on here!, the ralph is a great venue for football. its buffalo! its tailgating. no sterile dome is needed, build some luxury boxes where the current press box sits, as they were going to, and be done with it!.. no WNY , OR NIAGARA FALLS BILLS!what is the matter with some of you. buffalo is unique , the experience on game days is great, why change it? i think some on here are trying to be way to trendy.

You do realize that the stadium isn't even in Buffalo right now, right...?

That said, moving the team to Niagara Falls probably isn't a good idea as the city is a dump - worse than Buffalo... (I know, I grew up there...)

Playing football in a dome in Buffalo almost makes playing football in Buffalo pointless.

Some of my best memories of Bills games are in the worst weather imaginable. That weather used to be our strength, our life blood and was a MASSIVE competitive advantage.

Ask the Raiders...................... 51-3 bitches! I was there and it was COOOOOOLD!

I think you may have your Raider playoff games mixed up. 51-3 ('90 AFC Championship) wasn't very cold. It helped that we in attendance knew at halftime we were headin' to Tampa next week and were revelin' as never before.

29-23 ('94 AFC Div. Rd) was brutal cold! -as was the whole playoff season. AFCE clincher vs. NYJ a few weeks earlier (Dec 26) was the coldest Bills game on record -UNTIL the Raider game on Jan 15th.

i know the stadium is not within the city limits of buffalo. i was an original season ticket holder. my point is the "chicken little" mentality that some on here seem to be espousing. the stadium carries no debt for the owner , or new owner. just because its not what dallas built does not mean its outgrown it's usefullness. the bills, rightfully so, sell the game day experience, there is no better place to tailgate than in, and around the ralph. when the players start walking down the tunnel before kickoff, its exciting(as in most stadiums), but in buffalo, the wind, the snow, the beautiful late fall days, what is not to like. i think they should raise the ticket prices, do whatever takes, but keep much the same.

Some of us see the writing in sand, if we do not change things we will not have this team anywhere let alone Buffalo.. Need to use what works and centralizing the location of the stadium works

Upgrade my ass - the Bills need a new stadium - possibly in Lancaster, to continue drawing fans from Canada and Rochester. RWS is a dump and a huge pain in the ass to get to if you live north or east of Buffalo.

Where in the heck do you propose to put this stadium in Lancaster? It is more traffic constrained than OP. Maybe 30+ years ago when a stadium was proposed there - sure. The infrastructure could have been developed to support it. Too late now - too much development in that town.

As far as current NFL stadiums I have been in Jax, NO, Cincy, Clev, SD, Indy. Buffalo is better than Jax,NO, and SD IMO.

you can just as easily tailgate in the falls if you want. + that area would have a lot of other things to do too.

geez these people whining about how great the ralph is need to be reminded the bills used to play in war memorial stadium. and i dont hear anyone missing that place now
