If the old saying of "like father like son" is true, I wouldn't mind this hire one bit So you want an "Assistant Linebackers Coach" to become our Defensive Coordinator. Says he has other stuff to do and trusts the coaches and scouts going to fill him in. So it is not important that our DC is there. Also take the Super Bowl teams for example they probably have nothing but scouts there. but then again the NYG have an NFL caliber scouting staff The Bills have 8 full time scouts and part timers in Modrak and Nix who work out of thier homes in distant states. sounds like the coaches need to be there to have a shot at getting some good talent.
