I mean part of that though with Maybin is really only played the one year. one thing seems clear though, he wasn't really on board with the Maybin pick and judging by how close he is with Modrack, and how at the time of last year's draft Nix probably didn't have much say in the room, I'm gonna guess that Tom wasn't a full Maybin believer either. He's had one season under his belt. Don't start dogging a guy after one year. Give him a chance. But we chose to draft him knowing he was a project and would take at least a year before he might be able to really contribute. The positive that he has going for him is that he came out a year early and still has some growing and filling out to do. I would think that if he's not contributing by game 10 of next year then he should look at moving to LB or he may have a short NFL career.
