Brady is getting older and so is Moss, now it's beginning to show a little. They traded away Seymour in there usual arrogance, which has backfired. There will be a huge market for Wilfork if they don't get something worked out by season's end. Maroney is a far cry from the Curtis Martin and Corey Dillon of yesteryear. No Bruschi, no Harrison, no Vrabel, no Troy Brown. Bill just doesn't seem to exude the same confidence on the sidelines either. Remember how the Colts have always been good with Peyton Manning even when they had a large turnover w/ personnel? I imagine the same will be said for the Pats while they have Brady. Regarding last nights game, one team made mistakes, one team didn't. The Saints are really good and Brady never had time to throw. Red Posted December 1, 2009 Share Posted December 1, 2009 It is truly a delight to see. I have only felt this way about the Cowboys of the 90's. I loved the 80's 49'ers. And ofcourse I wanted the Bills glory years of the late 80's and 90's to last forever. But the Patriots have been such an arrogant bunch of scumbags during their run, that I would love to knock them off at the end of the year. We beat 'em that 1st game. I grew so tired of the continued dirtbag tactics of Rodney Harrison, I wanted to cut him at the knees. Vrabel and his "hanger-on" nonsense. Question: with Wilfork's services soon to be up for sale, and possibly a new (perhaps 3-4 ) defense installed, would anyone see us taking a shot at Wilfork this offseaon? I love the demise of the Patriots, but let's not forget that perhaps one of the greatest architects- Scott Pioli- has moved on to run the KC operation. That is perhaps the biggest blow to the Patriots than any of the individual players leaving. The Pats have always done a marvelous job in replacing their lost veterans. That now seems in serious jeopardy. Sincerely though, I want to see the Bills stick it to them. Run up the damn score (sorry you pansies who thought this past Sunday was a run- if you can't stomach it you yellow-bellied socialists, then turn your delicate selves away), and crush that team like they have dominated us this decade. I've thought about this (he is a FA at the end of the year), but after watching their defense take a step back as a result of the Seymore trade, I can't see the Pats* letting him go. I think their D and Bellyache's overaggressiveness is what has led to the Pats* 7-4 record. Not to dismiss that Belicheat no doubt sees the value in Wilfork, but given the history of the Patriots team-first salary structure, and the salary recently awarded to Haynesworth in Washington, I don't know if I see the Patriots competing with those kind of numbers- uncapped year or not. Now, I don't know that the Bills would pay that kind of money, either. But who knows what kind of checkbook and authority Ralph will be giving our new coach (and hopefully front office)? Demise meaning they are no longer the class of the AFCE and a perennial playoff team? Not even close. Gotta wait for Brady's retirement for that one. 300yrds Posted December 1, 2009 Share Posted December 1, 2009 What I did notice last night is that Brady is misfiring ALOT, adn Bellicheat seems to be going crazy with going for it on 4th down, and trying to go for the endzoen on every play. If they are not careful they crumble this year. That doesnt mean beat the Bills it means they will finish the last of their games at.500 then lose their first playoff game. IT was a different Pats team last night, Bellicheat was outcoached, not just out played, and he just seemed to go crazy with his I can do anything God complex when he realized it.
