  1. YAY! Let's go get somehow that Bill Parcells does not want, when he needs a WR and this one is his QB's best buddy and WR from the past. Sounds BRILLIANT on Buffalo's part!
  2. was just about to post that... Rumors are flying that the New England Patriots could make a run at Panthers DE/OLB Julius Peppers since the Patriots have extra cap space by dealing QB Matt Cassel to the Chiefs. SbB
  3. according to http://www.eastcoastsportsnews.com/als09scoop.html SI.com reports Carolina Panthers defensive end Julius Peppers has been linked to the Miami Dolphins and Arizona Cardinals in possible trade scenarios.
  4. why do we want him back again? so he can take money from us and keep mckelvin on the bench?
  5. his was..."Cole signs with Seahawks!" your's was..."Coles Signs!" there is a VERY big difference there!!! you insinuated that coles signed with us. that is not a joke, that is being a dick.

  7. he is my 3rd string guard in my madden '09 franchise.
  8. I knew it was a thin TE class, but damn. I didn’t have really high impressions of Robert Royal, but a quick look to my 2008 Pro Football Prospectus has this to say about Royal: One of the worst starters in the NFL at any position. Royal has hands like patio blocks, fumbles too many of the passes he does catch, and gets flagged too often to justify his rep as a blocking tight end. It goes on to say more, but it doesn’t get better. A look back to 2007 praises his prowess at his “wide variety of drive-killing abilities.” *some guy from the jets blog! HAHA, funny schit!
  9. the more i watch it though, it did look like a very nice grab.
  10. and the cowboys signed tim anderson. doesnt mean he will be on the team. jenkins wont be on the opening day roster. they had to sign him in case hardy is not ready and they cant get anybody better.
  11. WATCH THIS VIDEO...we DO NOT need this sh-- in Buffalo!!!

  13. let me fix this quote if i may? oh yeah, and...another 7-9 season! CUTLER without hesitation!
  14. is this true? i have not heard this anywhere! The Bills released Dockery not b/c he's a bad Guard but b/c their new line coach wants more Denver-esque types of O-linemen (smaller, quicker guys), Dockery is the big road grater type. Dockery was a player the Skins didn't want to let go but did b/c of the crazy contract Buffalo threw out there (amazing somebody out bid the skins, right?) and now he comes back knowing the system and wanting to be in DC. Thanks Buffalo for letting him go and thanks Detroit for not getting the deal done. -from a poster on nbcsports.com *langston walker, brad butler AND jason peters...ALL certainly don't fit the mold.
  15. This was smart...if they waited to trade him, they would have had to pay him a $1.75 million bonus.
  16. This is why... "With the fireworks from day two of free agency dwindling, NFL teams are starting to make plans for next week, when prices may be more reasonable." - Profootballtalk.com
  17. They also signed CB Eric King...drafted by the Bills. And...in the Kitna trade, it was CB Anthony Henry for Kitna...no draft picks involved.
  18. The Lions have also signed ex-Bills CB Eric King to a 2-year deal.
  19. According to a report from profootballweekly.com, the Cowboys traded starting CB Anthony Henry to the Lions for Kitna.
  20. june and canty have not even been linked to the bills. i would take simmons and coles though.
  21. your constant bitching is getting annoying. we have a foundation of players you jack-ass. edwards lynch jackson evans reed peters schobel stroud posluzny mitchell mcgee mckelvin whitner parrish moorman thats a lot of quality talent right there. there is a reason that our players and coaches/front office are in the nfl and you are not. they know what they are doing. things take time. it has NEVER worked for us to jump the gun. jason whittle was an awesome signing at midnight a couple years ago, wasn't he? don't forget to change your tampon. you marauder, you!
  22. Cassel would cost too much salary wise...but, I would have taken Rosenfels for a 4th or Kitna for a 5th. My buddy who is a Dolphins fan, really liked Rosenfels when he played there for a year or so. Plus, Cassel would have to have been named the Starter from the get-go! Trent still needs time and playmakers around him.
  23. Did anybody else think that Kelley Washington's interview was down right horrible? To me, it seemed as if he were trying way too hard to sell himself. Now, I know that is what he is supposed to do, but he sounded dumb doing so. He was not well-spoken, and repeated himself a lot. Fred Taylor's interview was great...I have liked him, too bad he is a Patriot now. Another good guy to hate now! Geoff Hangartner's interview was pretty good too. Seems like a good guy. Hope he's a better player. On a side note...I REALLY REALLY REALLY liked Albert Haynesworth's press conference with the 'Skins. He's bad ass!
  24. DRAFT!!! Branden Ledbetter, TE, Western Michigan (6-5, 236) Overview During the early portion of his career, Ledbetter was often compared to former Western Michigan standout Tony Scheffler. He isn’t quite as athletically gifted as Scheffler, but he’s very impressive in his own right. Ledbetter caught 120 balls over the past three seasons and finished the 2008 season year with 45 receptions, 464 yards and six touchdowns. Scout’s Take An athletically gifted tight end who displays impressive straight-line speed (4.69) and has the ability to threaten the seam and create mismatches down the field. Displays a really good first step and can consistently burst and separate in and out of his breaks. Reaches full speed quickly and has an ability to create some yards after contact. Exhibits good body control and hands with an ability to track the ball down the field. Looks more like a bulked-up receiver and will never be much of a factor as a down tight end on the line of scrimmage. Lacks power in his lower body and looks to lanky and thin-framed for the position. But he does do a nice job using his hands and shiftiness to beat press coverage off the line and get into routes quickly. Rundown Ledbetter did a nice job showcasing his playmaking ability at the Texas vs. the Nation Bowl, hauling in four catches for 39 yards. His speed and receiving skill set will allow him to create mismatches as a possible H-back prospect at the next level. He is never going to be much of an in-line blocker, but if you need a late-round tight end prospect with some big-play potential, Ledbetter is your guy.
