There is A LOT available and we need A LOT! Why keep what you have, when you know they suck? I would dump half the team and bring in FA's to see if they can find a few young guys they can keep around to fill some holes, if even for depth! There are certainly some names/guys out there who COULD and WOULD help us!

I always say the same thing...I want guys who LOVE this game so much, they would be happy to die on a football field. I want guys who want to win more than anything, and do not sit around joking on the sideline when they are losing. I want guys who will fight for the man next to them, if somebody cheap shots your QB, take out one of their guys...eye for an eye. I want guys who will not run/step out of bounds when they are about to get hit. I want guys who do not, WILL NOT help up an opposing player when he is on the ground. I want somebody who will step on another player's chest to get up, spit in his face...and call him a kitty! (Meow? ) Only problem is...there are not many guys like that nowadays...NONE like the faces we saw in that video...and just like you said, who was the last we had like that? Takeo Spikes! Look how long ago all the others were. Those guys are a dying breed in today's NFL. (It's mostly about the money!) Great post and video though!

I was just talking about this recently with somebody else, and besides Golisano, another name that came up was...Danny Wegman. He is a BIG Bills fan, has ties to Kelly, Thomas and the Glory Days players...and not only does he have a lot of money, he is a big local figure. Obviously it would be as a minority-owner, but if Paladino is being considered, there is no reason to laugh at the idea of Danny Wegman. If he and Golisano were to team up, Marvin Sands is another local Bills fan who could help as well.

I hope this is not in response to what I said...because I simply said that IF Boldin and Marshall CAN get traded, there is NO reason why Lee Evans should not be considered for a trade to bring in picks. And...if Deion Branch can fetch a 4th...I bet Lee Evans could fetch us a 3rd! You idiot!

And with the exception of maybe a hand full of guys, I would still take most of THAT list over our current QB's. That is exactly how bad our QB's suck.

I agree with all of this...but I still think he should be traded. (and I'll leave it at that, simply because I have shared my reasons in other theads.)

i think a 3rd and 5th would have been good. (for lynch that is) but...if branch can fetch a 4th, what could lee evans bring us in a trade?

I honestly cannot blame you and I would not go as far as to say you are not a "true bills fans." I am actually "rooting" for a few other teams, because I really have nothing to root for with my own...not to mention, I could not watch them this weekend and probably wont be able to a couple/few more times this year. But, does that make me a bad Buffalo Bills fan? I just like certain players, on certain teams. I am gonna support the Redskins and Vikings. I also back the 49ers, Chiefs and Lions. I want Lynch to do well, but I dont like Pete Carroll. I want Max Hall to do well in Arizona too. (This means I want them to do well...I would not buy any apparel or anything...maybe a t-shirt if they made the Super Bowl, nothing more.)

I disagree. You cannot expect to overhaul and transform an entire Tampa-2 defense into a 3-4, with no talented personnel for that scheme. Certainly not succesfully in one offseason and 5 games.

The tip of the finger was severed – from the middle of the fingernail up. Tech's medical staff found that piece inside Nosal's glove. (You have to imagine that's a blood-stained glove Nosal would like to keep to show his grandkids one day.) Despite the horrific injury, Nosal wanted to go back into the game. The medical staff put a dressing and cast on the finger and gave Nosal some pain medicine.

We have already gone that route and figured this out...it did not work out too well for us! No more Packers PS castoffs! (And REALLY? Graham Harrell? HAHA! I would like somebody who can actually play the position and has potential.)

You mind explaining how you get an offense ready for a QB...when you don't even know who that QB will be? You can't...it's impossible. I would be willing to bet a coach would have to design a different offense for Luck, than he would design for Mallett...and Locker would need a totally different offense than those 2. How do you plan for a player...when you don't know who that player is? (And yes, Lee Evans SHOULD be traded. The WR doesn't make the QB, the QB makes the WR...and I am sure Parrish, Johnson, Nelson and Easley could be more than serviceable next year IF we get somebody who can play the QB position.)

Look at what coaching has done for guys like Elvis Dumervil and Tamba Hali, not to mention Cameron Wake. The first 2 were relatively high draft picks (Not as high as Maybin), but they were both on the rocks with their teams...and all of a sudden they came on strong, Dumervil last year and Hali this year. These guys took time to develop and put muscle/weight on. Give Maybin more than a year, I understand he should have produced more than what he has in 21 games...but give him another year.

I dont even think our whole team is worth that, let alone Lee Evans! No...they are a rebuilding team, and by the time this is done, a 30-something year old Evans will be worthless...as he pretty much is now! Only difference is...we do not have a single player anywhere close to the talent of those 3. "Grooming our own young QB"??? BROHM OR BROWN??? What is there to groom? Brown was not good enough for ANYONE'S practice squad, let alone the Buffalo Bills' practice squad. I mean, how bad do you have to be to make the Bills' PS? And IF Brian Brohm had the least bit of potential, he would have already been playing. Evans is easily replaceable...Johnson even has better stats!

Or we could have traded down and got Best or McCluster who are just as good, if not better than Spiller!

And what exactly HAS Spiller done except a returned td? Does he even have 100 rushing yards...in 4 games?
