The first thing I thought of when they cut it out was, since it's covered with blood, wouldn't they put it in a bag or wear gloves? Jack handles it and then gives it to an agent. Who's the Vice President? I don't recall seeing him. Could it be Jon Voigt?

If people are objective and vote based on what happened on the field, he would win. Would he be invited to attend if he wins? I expect that Thurman will win because alot of voters will judge OJ based on his off field activity.

Lets discuss the Obama Stimulus

What that 'someone' Rush or Hannity? Democrats driving this country into the ground? That's like the Republican driver blaming the Democrat tow truck driver because it's taking longer and costing more to get their Mercedes out of the ditch they drove it into, because they're in a hurry to get right back on the road so they can continue to drive recklessly. You mean the irresponsible people who cut taxes while fighting two wars which weren't included in the budget, and then voted for large increases in federal spending? Those irresponsible people? Bush and the Republican majority? -
I heard they already made the patch for the 15th anniversary of the last time they made the playoffs, and they brought Dick back to make sure they don't have to throw them out before the anniversary happens.

The rumor is that the ending of the movie will be different than the ending of the novel.

Taylor is also visiting New England. Maybe the Patriots told him to go to Buffalo first, then come to New England and compare the coaches, players, and who's closer to another Super Bowl.

That's a dumb statement, because most of the country supported Bush after 9/11 and the invasion of Afganistan. But then he blew it with Iraq. The tribute to the supporting actresses with the former winners onstage was a nice touch.

Adam Mair would be fighting Neil in the locker room. He can't stand him.

It's obviously going to affect your relationship, so I say be honest with him next time you talk. Tell him that you were disappointed to hear he was working for them, and that you feel like you and his other former co-workers are being disrespected by his decision. Then let him explain himself. Better to get it out in the open than let it simmer and continue to bother you. Maybe after discussing it you'll feel better.

Don't you have any other options? Is it due to location or cost? Maybe you can find some parents like yourself who aren't part of that tribe but sent their kids there, to get an objective view. I'd be cautious about sending impressionable kids into a setting that may try to indoctrinate them into their religious beliefs. -
LAMP--going to my first hockey game tonight

Connelly should have been benched for his lazy play that resulted in the shorthanded goal. He was right with the Flyer at our blue line, and instead of moving his feet, he glided into the zone while the Flyer went to the net and deflected the pass in. All he had to do was keep skating and lift the Flyer's stick. And the lack of coverage in front of our net is ridiculous. -

Would you want to tackle a guy who said to another fighter, "I'm gonna @#$% you until you love me!"? -
QB is not a priority issue, he just needs players around him. He's shown when he has protection and WRs open, he can make the plays. The team would be in better shape with a stronger pass rush, a complimentary WR and TE to Evans, a more consistant offensive line, and better coaching, then a change at QB.

Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele says his party is going to launch an "off the hook" public relations campaign that will update the GOP’s image by translating it to "urban-suburban hip-hop settings." The new GOP leader told the Washington Times that the party’s defeat in states such as North Carolina and Virginia made it clear they needed a new approach. “We need messengers to really capture that region — young, Hispanic, black, a cross section…” he said in an interview published Thursday. “We want to convey that the modern-day GOP looks like the conservative party that stands on principles. But we want to apply them to urban-surburban hip-hop settings.” He added, jokingly, that “we need to uptick our image with everyone, including one-armed midgets.” Steele described the new multi-platform PR offensive as “avant-garde, technically. It will come to [the] table with things that will surprise everyone — off the hook.” Asked whether that meant cutting-edge tactics, Steele demurred. “I don't do 'cutting-edge,’” he said. “That's what Democrats are doing. We're going beyond cutting-edge.” http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2009/...%99/#more-40591 I can't wait to see Eric Cantor getting a Vanilla Ice haircut and wearing the bling-bling in Congress.

We'll watch for the guy in the Sabres gear getting beer spilled on his head. Be prepared for verbal abuse. -
why are fans excited about the draft
PastaJoe replied to Poland's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We can't get excited over the coach, the current roster, the probable lack of impact free agent players that will be brought in, or the tough schedule next year, so the only thing left is the draft. -
The ref ruled that he made an intentional motion with his arm to direct the puck into the net. Using any part of your body to intentionally direct the puck into the net is not allowed. It's a judgement call on intent, but that's what he ruled. It would have counted if he had not moved his arm, and it hit him and went in.

Major Plane Crash in Clarence Center (50 dead)
PastaJoe replied to PTS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Would you want to rebuild on the spot that the crash occurred on, and the effect that hearing planes fly over the house would have? I would expect that the wife would want to move someplace where she would feel safe. Plus I would expect the combination of insurance and a payout from the airlines would pay for any rebuild. -
I like the comedy routine (it might be Chris Rock) has about guns. He says that there should be no ban on guns, but each bullet should be taxed so it costs $15000. That would make people really think about when to use them.
