  1. McCoy run right for 4 yards. 15 first downs.
  2. It wasn't guaranteed he would be back, they had to outbid Houston. @viccarucci: Hearing #Bills offered a better deal to Matt Cassel than #Texans w bonus structure that could potentially recoup most of lost pay. The question now is, who is 2nd to Taylor on Sunday?
  3. Sarah Palin says immigrants should "speak American". http://www.bloomberg.com/politics/articles/2015-09-06/sarah-palin-says-immigrants-to-u-s-must-speak-american-
  4. We make decisions throughout their childhood about what we think will help them adjust and be accepted by their peers. This was just one of the first for my son. My Catholic family always had it done, and I'd still make the same choice. People overthink this stuff.
  5. #WhiteQBsMatter
  6. M&T Bank announcing that Rex has been photoshopped in place of Fred in its advertising.
  7. To be fair, Schoop and Simon are not reporters, they're talk radio hosts. And while Schoop can be smarmy, Simon is a good host.
  8. New England over Indy Seattle over Green Bay SB - Seattle over New England Both Fred Jackson and Scott Chandler score.
  9. Just watched the pilot and was disappointed. I don't find any of the characters likeable, especially the druggie son and his mother. Lots of cliches among the families. No real suspense because we already know what's happening. I'll keep watching, hoping it improves. But TWD is more suspenseful, from the first episode till now.
  10. No I can't. Now it's your turn to put down the corncob pipe.
  11. I think it's just the opposite; the best teams don't have a competition and have a clear number one. Three average don't beat one good QB.
  12. If that was true they wouldn't have waited until game 3 to give him time with the 1st team. This is to save the starter for the regular season.
  13. Slaves don't get payed. Maybe she meant "war", as in " this is war".
  14. I don't care about other teams, so I don't listen to national broadcasts that give the Bills little coverage. The fact that the Bills are in probably the smallest radio market (Green Bay is covered throughout Wisconsin) means lack of competition compared to other markets, which can factor into the quality of the broadcasts. I prefer critical analysis to just talking about all the positives. I can see what's working, I want to hear about what's wrong, why, and what are the options to correct them.
  15. Other than Schoop and the Bulldog, the morning crew and the reporters are knowledgable. But some don't like them because they make critical observations as opposed to being cheerleaders.
  16. So 15 years of not making the playoffs, and not acquiring a franchise QB since Kelly, and WGR is the problem? You don't want reporting, you want cheerleaders. Yeesh!
  17. I wondered if she was just a trophy wife. While that may have been Terry's initial attraction to a much younger recent college student, her story shows she's really a competent businesswoman whose brains complement Terry's heart.
  18. Glad I could convince you. But his regular season play against starting defenses should have been enough. The coaches are doing him a favor by letting him play against the "JV squad" defenses so far.
  19. Never realized there were so many Manuelites. Must have bought his jersey and don't want to switch again. I sympathize, but you need to put the team ahead of your own interests.
  20. You're correct, but I don't really care if they cut him or keep him as a backup.
  21. Then he still needs a chance to compete to see if he could unseat one of the other three as a backup.
  22. For those saying EJ should get a chance with the first team, then I suppose the same could be said for Matt Simms. He hasn't been given a chance to show what he could do with the first team either.
  23. If he was as good as some of you are desperate to believe he is, he wouldn't have lost his job last year to a retired QB, and forced the team to pick up two QBs this year who have never been able to establish themselves as starters. He's had his chances to take the starting position but doesn't have the consistency to keep it. When the play doesn't go perfect and he has to improvise, he's indecisive over if he should run or throw, and that's when he gets in trouble and makes bad decisions. At best it's an overthrow, at worst it's a fumble or interception.
